As it's been pointed out, it's now 11:22pm Saturday 14 June in New Zealand (NZT) as I write this.

When you look at the timeline of the announcements, the queue opened at 6:15am Saturday NZT, and the issue with consoles was reported at 7:30am NZT, 30 mins before launch.

But when you look at the announcement of the patched console builds being submitted for certification at 6:02pm NZT, it is at that point out of GGG hands, and in the hands of Sony and Microsoft to certify the builds, which in GGG's words was to take 4-14 hours.

Fortunately Sony certified the build within 2 hours, and we still await Microsoft to do the same.

Please be considerate to the teams who have worked throughout their Saturday from before 6am their local time, to at the very least 9pm Saturday local time when PS5 servers came online.

Assuming XBOX will be certified overnight in New Zealand (aka Saturday in the US), it'll be a delay of ~24 hours.

All things considered, I just want to thank GGG for working as hard as they have through this high pressure crisis moment.

They turned around the patches as fast as they could, but we are, myself included as an XBOX player, now caught in the certification pipeline of Microsoft, on a weekend.

We can only hope that the Microsoft certification team work as hard on a weekend as GGG and Sony do.
