That was never stated. How was it clearly stated? Yes, it is disappointing and a wrong decision to funnel all resources into PoE2 for such a long period. But you are not helping anyone by making false claims. xD

As someone who seems go be so devoted to PoE you have some selective memory. I get it, anything that derails your beliefs must be countered.

the guy is right, they did say poe2 will not affect the development times of poe1, and as far as league times go, they went from 4 months to 3 months, and it stayed like that for a long time, and we got used to having that, meaning that the norm became 3-4 months for a league, which means that they did infact, lie. Game dev is hard? give me a break, all jobs are hard. If they can't do a good job, then they don't have the right people working on them, or the management is bad, and i could see that being the case since Chris Wilson isn't there anymore.

You can flip it as much as you want, but any sane exile will call that bad intention, especially with timing of that interview, which been separation of og Path of Exile and the second project (initially Path of Exile 2 been advertised as Path of Exile 4.0+ patch).

We are not talking about promise, but about their stating something, which statement of intention resulted in more of us buying second project EA and some due to such statement also bought supporter packs, believing og Path of Exile will keep new leagues pace close to what we already had past years.

Well, GGG better really follow up their big words about 3.26 or this'll be the shortest league of PoE 1...
Don't get me wrong, I am actually full of hope but I have unpleasant memories.

Now, the regular reminder to GGG about my expectations:

~total revise of the unique items;
~more support gems (especially Fire to Chaos dmg conversion);
~a few dozen more of the transfigured gems;
~bug fixes and TOOLTIP fixes;
~a new ascendancy (plural?) for each class;
~an actual, obvious maneuver that would prove to us that PoE 1 is at least a bit more taken care of than PoE 2 and definitely not the other way around. We're mostly supporters of PoE 2 but we also agree that it will take a few more years before it can make any sense of choosing it over PoE 1;
~more lore content (a lot).
