Upcoming Plans for Patch 0.2.1

I'm loving the frequency of these updates! I get excited every time I see a new post. So many awesome updates. Keep up the good work!

Adding more socketables won't really improve the game until we can remove socketables from our gear.

In the endgame, getting a rare talisman or soul core doesn't feel impactful when you know you don't have an item to slot it into yet. I end up getting way more socketables than I will ever be able to use.

Removable runes would also be great for Rogue Exiles. There's nothing worse than getting a stellar item that's ruined by having the wrong runes.


Here is a reason why not all feedback is valuable.

For me it's a W patch but will see when it goes live and what new uniques be like. And GGG thank you for omen change. Now rare omen won't be own by 3% of the player base, will be worth upgrading your own items instead of selling omens for raw to buy ready items. Unless they still be rare and it's insignificant buff but again will see we patch goes live.

All the changes are good, but NOTHING done about balancing and build diversity.
Game is dead, because only have couple of really fun and powerful builds. Why should anyone play something not LS?

Buff every other skill! Let people discover and play something new!
As an example how you ruin some interesting skills: i loved concoctions with pathfinder. Yes, it should work only with empty hand, not bows, and you fixed that in 0.2. But why the hell you also raised charges consumed, not adjusted base damage to be a bit higher? You deleted whole ascendancy for thousands of players by doing so. And it's only one example of incompetency and stupidity of those who do such things and works on development, tests.

PoE 2 state now, looking at charts, is very bad. It's sad. And 0.2.1 is so damn tiny patch, that changes nothing important, adds nothing really interesting (skills, new build possibilities). You only get less people playing with it. Bad work.

Energy shield builds get to keep half because of a few builds that drop health to 1?
How about doing something for armor and evasion? It's pretty rough for those builds as well.
i am particular happy to see optimization for the game... I have a brand new PC and it struggles to run this game smoothly which should not be happening. please keep these frequent updates up its what we need!
Some feedback again for you guys:

Maps - you are dancing again and again around the main problem. Players want to pick the map layout they want to play, by making specific maps more/less common does not change a thing at the end...Same for the the mods, we have 3 mods that give rewards the other 3 give nothing...hello Poe1 maps system/mods rewards.
The area level on maps now been 79 without buffs(which even if you want cant have them regular) is huge penalty for the exp gain after level 90, the base area level in poe1 is 83...

Purple plants and other similar effects, making them less in number doesnt change a thing, you cant see them in the action. This is also incredibly hard to see with the deli/breach on screen visual changing effect, please give us option to turn it off. Same for the pulsing red screen on low health)

The Azmeri Wisp in its current form does not work, very often you find you when there is not left on the map/or there is one rare on the other side of the map. It should spawn at the start of the map - buffs everything/zone when used or you decide when to use it for buff explosion/number of mobs that will be effected.

You have years in testing these things and seeing what works best in Poe1, why are you trying to re-invent the wheel when you have it already, wasting time doing it and going back again to how it is in Poe1. It is super unproductive on every level. I would understand if you really make something new and then you try to adjust it, that would be fair, instead of creating problems out of things that you already know how work best.

You did great job with removing the socket/link/colors gem system from poe1 which was super old and clunky for the new players and was remnant from times when getting socket/link/colors gem correctly was the end game. Now it is pretty much the start/mandatory to have it.

Other than that, awesome changes for the incoming patch.

Almost forgot, please add tab stash for the Tablets, just simple Boss/Breach/Deli/Unique etc tabs in it where we can store them.

Sounds Like yall finally actually played the game.
Thank you for flipping the tier system. The current system was too much of a hassle.
