The second voted item is auction house, and for that I'd argue the same. There are people who play SSF, who don't care either way, but for trade players this is a big deal.
I play SSF mostly because I believe that's the whole point of playing loot games: to loot things yourself. But the absolute lack of good loot has made me drop down to play trade league SSF, i.e. I play SSF but with currency trade.
I'm not touching trade because it's an archaic system that devs have revealed is designed deliberately to make it difficult to trade.
I feel GGG is severely misguided in the way they implemented trading. It may be fine among the loyal and the fanatical fans, but not for me. I have better ways to waste my time that are actually enjoyable, ways that don't amount to me playing virtual door-to-door merchant.
I'm fine with playing trade if they automate trade somehow. Even if I have to visit the player's hideout and buy it from an NPC like how we buy from vendors, it'd still be a million times better than needing to messasge 10 people and maybe get 1 response if I'm lucky.
Proper automatec trade or proper crafting (or 100 times more currency drops). These will be the two things I'm looking at by launch. Lacking both would be a deal breaker for me.

Yep, door-to-door merchant is exact terrible feel of trade from last time i remember, before switching to SSF for good.
Dont know if you remember Dark Age of Camelot, they had housing system and consignment merchant attached to it, with "buyout" price for gear. Had to go to player or guild house to buy item from and also seller had to collect currency (gold) from consignment merchant afterward. Beside that, they had nice system of privileges settings for housing, stashes, guilds etc. and well... so many years ago xD
DAoC had even damn great chat options and UI which could be easily modified by user to his liking. GGG still cant foking comprehend, chat is goat shite droppings.

Bump, I answered on the poll. Hopefully a GGG employee shares it with the devs.

There's a lot to work on, but my biggest gripes are:
-The new Atlas system is just vastly inferior. Just go back to PoE1 maps.
-There needs to be actual crafting, with a crafting bench as part of that.

Understandable that 0.2.1 will not address any of the top issues in the poll, as they can be considered major changes.
But 0.3.0 should - looking forward to it!

For me, POE2, even in beta, is the best ARPG I have ever played. Thank you, GGG, for your incredible game. I have been enjoying both of your games since 2014. Keep up the great work.
