Combat is now optional. Jonathan was right.
" A basic principle of good mob design is to limit wether they are 1.fast 2.tanky 3.hard hitting trying to adhere to only two per monster type when it's a commonly fought enemy. The issue is not that mobs are quick, but that some enemy types are clearly fast, tanky and strong, making it disproportionate wether you die or survive mob packs, given the randomization of mob pools on a per-map basis. calling combat optional is pure BS.
go ahead and bypass all mobs, kill only the quest objectives. literally skip everything else and see how far you get in the long run. youll fall behind in gear, youll fall behind in EXP. people on this forum love to condense complex issues down to one liners with black and white outcomes. heres a more reasonable take. if a player is well geared, has move speed, and is experienced they have earned EVERY RIGHT to bypass mobs to rush the campaign they have already run a bunch of times. |

POE is about the endgame that comes after the campaign.
Nobody wants to struggle creating multiple characters to play multiple builds every league. My god people really complain about everything, can't make everyone happy. |

For sure someone said that before me but poe is not about campaign. Do it each league 1-4 times (depends on builds you want to play) and you will never want it to take 20hr ever again. Why is it so hard for some people to understand?
"We've just spent six years making expansions for path of exile, so imagine if we released path of exile 2 and it was just a bare campaign with none of that extra content. This would be a sad shell of an action RPG compared to the current state of path of exile."

" What am i reading? The same thing was literally also possible in 0.1 Even if you do that its useless. Unless you speedrun, because of exp issues later on. |
