I hate porting back 10 times to town

theres something wrong with you

Dude you're like the 5th person to say that me this week. Y'all are nutso!
It is always your choice if and what you pick.

Best solution is, try to find a way to get your inventory full only once a run.
By making priorities, simple.
Leave most on the ground, focus on what makes really sense (for your class items, amulets, rings, currency)
Keep an 40 ident roll, if there are still so many items, than you can ident the 6 slot items and if garbage, you won space for nextone.

That is how I do it in ssf.
So fully understand the need of gold, items..

Anyways; making less loot but asking for better loot won`t work. Would kill the possibility of the "finally found it!" feeling, would kill the trade (if all get "T12" loot, no one needs to trade, and so on...

Making less useless stats would help.
But still, it is good that there is a range of bad and good items, otherwise we find ourself in D3 and all we look for are the very BiS items, making the game just boring..

Fucking hell these answers are troll.

Guys, is the small amount of bag space annoying? YES, yes it is very much. I'm running a warrior who has extra bag space as an ascendancy........

AS AN ASCENDANCY.

Bag space is obviously troll, its passives in an ascendancy- I mean, come on. Wake the fuck up. Lets get out the common sense hammer and start whacking some moles here.

Its a stat based game. Arguably some of the most powerful passive points in the game... and I have some in bag space, and its worth. That, is stupid.

The bag size is very dumb. I only pick up rares and I'm still running laps 3-4 times a map.

All it does is more frequently remind me I'm not getting any gear upgrades.

Yep, still waiting for a reasonable argument against more space. Respec cost is so high you are forced to collect all rares unless you never respec. Regals are not common enough if you actually try and craft. Crafting is overly rng which forces you to pick up more items if you even want to craft.

The people talking S$#& probably don't bother with crafting or respecs, they have their build set in stone and spend half their playtime trading

More space = people pick up more stuff = more stuff for trade = greater supply = lower prices = everything you pick up is worth less.

I legitimately don't understand how this isn't obvious to everyone who plays this game for more than a few hours. The entire game economy hinges on your limited inventory space. Items with good rolls are valuable because they're rare and one of the reasons they're rare is because a lot of them get left on the ground because people have limited inventory space and don't want to port back to town and/or identify stuff on the fly.

Your limited inventory space forces you to choose between speed/efficiency and collecting items to bring back to your stash. Some people choose to leave things behind which increases the value of those items for the people who choose to pick them up.

The reason you don't see this argument a lot is probably because most people understand it implicitly because it's obvious.
Your loot filter is not well tailored for you, it seems. Also, that's because all the noobs complained there is no loot and here you have it now. All the loot you can take and 10 times more! Satisfied? xD Hope they add ruthless mode soon! xD
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?

That's a completely ridiculous argument that has no basis in reality. The economy hinges on limited inventory space? Really?

You're theory about leaving good rares on the ground is completely incorrect. I use scrolls and identify most rares in the map, the ones I don't I keep and take back. Most items you find are not suitable for trade, by most I mean the vast majority. The vast majority of time wasted involves porting back to town to sell and disenchant, which is a necessity for gold and regals.

The reason you don't see your argument a lot, or ever, is because it's factually incorrect and a ridiculous argument to make for limited inventory space
