I hate porting back 10 times to town

I really hate how many damn times i have to port back to town to identify and clear my inventory of all the bullshit.
its a shit experience, i just alt f4:d because of it. im sick of it! i just wanna run my map. pick up the crap while running and then at the end go to town.

i played diablo 4 and it was a MASSIVE quality of life of how much stuff i could pick up and keep doing what i was doing. i rarely had to go to town and salvage.

i know you make the items stupidly big so you can charge people for buying stash space, i get that. But for the love of god! make my inventory 5x bigger so i can actually enjoy a map!

"Stop picking up so much stuff Hurr durr" i want the salvage material and the gold and sometimes a low tier item can be worth quite a bit

How are the developers playing this game and not feeling these pain points? or do they just enjoy suffering and wasting time?

Yeah, the hurr durr people are correct. Use a loot filter. Stop salvaging inventories full of rares. If you do this, you will waste less time and find more raw currency drops (including regals) that you can use to exchange for regals if you need more.

Also, gold? Really?

Some of us like the big items and the artwork that goes into making them look BADASS, YO.

How would making a positive change for people like me hurt the way you choose to play?

I'm telling you that you're literally playing the game wrong. You just said that you don't like doing this thing, but you're not going to stop doing it because you want to do it. You're a very confused person.

theres something wrong with you
+1 to op and I don't understand people not wanting to improve on this. I find a lot of socketed and superior items to salvage, on top of collecting rares to salvage and sell. During campaign and early endgame this is necessary to have enough gold to respect and some of us do at least try to craft.

There should be a teleport item to stash, or a pet to hold items, or a bigger inventory on character. Never once heard a good reason against this. Having to portal back completely interrupts the flow of the game.
I know you just want to play the way you want, but if you continue this playstyle into even more juiced maps then a larger inventory wont help.

At some point you need to decide whats worth your time to pick up.

For crafting mats, 1 researcher strongbox can give more than the entire maps item drops scrapped.

For gold selling waystones is far better than rare items (10-15k gold for 1 inventory slot vs 3k for 6 slots)
"Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
I thought it's been pretty bad for some time and I feared this issue has been worsened by increasing loot drop quantity. Other folks raise a good point too in that you just need to be more selective.
