Feels like dark souls in endgame. I hate dark souls.

Yeah, this is my observation too. Most veterans can just wing it super easy, as POE 2 is a dramatically easier game.

POE 2 feels a few steps above D4, and a few steps below POE 1 in difficulty.

I would classify this game as "easy af" -- but i've been playing about 7 years and like 10-12k hours (Standalone)

POE 2 is so easy it's crazy, none of these guys have played POE 1 or any souls games.

The problem with POE 2 is it has zero difficulty. The Fights are meh, the pinnacle bosses really suck from a multitude of angles...

PoE 1 is not hard but its fun,PoE 2 on the other hand is garbage.Every single thing taken from PoE1 that was added to PoE2 is trash,so is the endgame and maps.Theres no crafting,whole atlas passive tree is garbage,to many restrictions and in the end game is just not fun.

I found Dark Souls 3 to be so boring that I dropped it as soon as I finished the tutorial.

This makes me have no desire to start end game in PoE 2 and I simply mess around experimenting with random builds in the campaign.

Agreed. I don't think POE 1 is hard, but being a veteran POE player, POE 2 is crazy easy.

POE 2 feels soulless and devoid of reason/direction.

POE 2 is going in a ton of random directions, which are sometimes at odds with their supposed goals/design intent.

Personally I think the biggest failing and worst part is the mapping system -- by miles. The tower system is just flat out bad. They turned sextants into work, now you can't just roll sextants, you have to find them in groups or you're just not going to get drops, ever.

Hard coding RNG into every aspect of the game is pretty shitty, unfun, unfair, and far too limiting.

Limiting is what GGG wants. They don't want us farming level 82 maps, they don't want us having great gear, they don't want items being common.. They just want to limit us so badly that there is no enjoyment left

Now when us "POE 1 doomers" wanted "the same exact game" because we didn't like the direction POE 2 was going, POE 2 players (D4 players) just screamed "YOU JUST WANT AN EASY GAME"... No.

POE 2 is the easy game. It's slower at first, but it's fundamentally just watered down POE 1, with worse rewards.

We still want it harder, but GGG only seems to think tedious = hard.

To them, limiting us and our rewards is the only way to make the game challenging.

right so tbh.. . my main problem with poe 2 is neither that its hard or that its easy... its simply that its not fun.. most system there are simply unenjoyable for me. . infact ill argue that poe 2 is easy ... becuse i can 1 shoot basically all bosses and stand afk after 1-2 weeks .. but its just soooo clunky so unfun.. theres nothing exciting to do the maps are huge the gameplay is slow and clunky. . monsters dont drop loot what kind of ARPG is this? the way you bring loot to maps with 3 overlapping towers and specific 9 tablets and rarity on map.. is so toxic.. i swear i side from the visual theres nothing i like about poe 2 .. GGG really seem to have lost their way between whats "hard" and what is "tedious" as you said or clunky.. and they clearly have chosen to go the tedious way

if someone can show me 1 of the major problems that made the game unfun that has been actually fixed and solved and not covered in paint to try hide it while remaining exactly the same ill take back negative feedback of the game.. yes there has been alot of patches but they didnt change anything or fix anything.. . loot system still remain same focused around rarity on gear on map mode and on over lapping tower.. so no actual fix..

map size.. ? we got more checkpoints so still big.. and bad layouts.

so on so on so on.. theres are big nothing patches
