I know how to fix the XP loss on death complaints. It's easy.
" Exactly. If 100 were possible, I'd roll another toon. Also, it would effectively boost the campaign issues. It satisfies the power fantasy and makes the campaign as a whole more enjoyable. |

" They did the opposite, that's why the xp loss is a bigger issue than POE 1. They limited every aspect of leveling, making the xp loss feel much worse. Which we veterans feel too, trust us. We get less experience, we get experience slower, and we lose MORE experience than POE 1. So they intentionally made everything more punishing... just because. If it were tuned like POE 1, I bet a lot more people would be more okay with it (not that they would be jumping for joy for xp loss, but it def feels much worse in POE 2, by design) |

I believe problem is not the XP loss on death. Problem is "gaining" XP is too low after 92+. I remember on POE1 went from 4 hours grind to nothing on a "single" die.
If they want to stick their "vision" XP on death they should buff XP gains. I don't mind for myself but their "vision" also should be open to new players. More new players = more profit. No need to fight with your customers or they will leave your shop. Regards. |
