I know how to fix the XP loss on death complaints. It's easy.

Regarding trying make lvl 100 a daunting task, who actually cares? This isn't a competetive game. Aside from the Hardcore ladder clout its pretty much a single player game.

Exactly. If 100 were possible, I'd roll another toon.
Also, it would effectively boost the campaign issues. It satisfies the power fantasy and makes the campaign as a whole more enjoyable.
lvl 82+ maps, too. Up to 100.

Double XP gain until 80 then triple it.
Done.
Problem solved.

"But people will just faceroll the campaign while being over leveled"
Looks like it fixes two problems then.

You're welcome.

They did the opposite, that's why the xp loss is a bigger issue than POE 1.

They limited every aspect of leveling, making the xp loss feel much worse. Which we veterans feel too, trust us.

We get less experience, we get experience slower, and we lose MORE experience than POE 1.

So they intentionally made everything more punishing... just because.

If it were tuned like POE 1, I bet a lot more people would be more okay with it (not that they would be jumping for joy for xp loss, but it def feels much worse in POE 2, by design)
I believe problem is not the XP loss on death. Problem is "gaining" XP is too low after 92+. I remember on POE1 went from 4 hours grind to nothing on a "single" die.

If they want to stick their "vision" XP on death they should buff XP gains. I don't mind for myself but their "vision" also should be open to new players.

More new players = more profit. No need to fight with your customers or they will leave your shop.

Regards.

There isn't ovly xp loss or xp gain that it will keep people in game if it gets solved. There is actually 0 innovative ideas and easily anyone get bored when reaching 90+ levels. People bring new ideas by telling them in posts. But whose listening??

I actually agree that the exp required going from 90-100 probably should be lowered.
But unfortunetly this wouldnt be a solution to the persons crying about exp loss. Because their problem is that they're constantly dying, so it doesnt matter if they lower the overall exp because they will just keep chain dying without improving and get nowhere.

I do not get comments like this?

How the fuck does it affect you if another player dies 100 times or 2000 times.
