Idea for campaign skip.

How about adding experience gain runes/item mods. Then after completing the campaign once or twice you gain access to a horde mode which will enable you to level solely by killing monsters. Make it difficult so only players with twink items and currency gained from previous playthroughs can get max level

My idea would be that you finish the campaign once with your main character and then you can create as many alts as you like with the option to skip campaign. These toons would start at level 60-65 and it is the responsibility of the player to take care beforehand that they have the approprite starting gear to do T1 maps.

Act skip should be in game after doing it once,even in season I would do fine by doing it once only.

Way to do it simply is skip acts and enable map that is never consumed and keeps leveling with you until it hits Tier 1 map level.

Any passive points/spirit/stats quests would be given by certain level you would normally get by doing acts.

It's simpler.

Make the campaign scalable so anytime you want you could go the campaign leveled up to your current level. Just like another map, so you would go for the passives at your will.
This is a resemblance of d2 feeling, we were all day doing the campaign bosses/special minions.

Also put contracts as D3 did. There's many things D3 did pretty well. After their failure start there were years of actual development, it became an enjoyable game at least; but most importantly they tested and tried all kind of alternatives and gameplay. GGG please be humble and learn from others too!

But the thing is, we are cannon fodder, they need to test campaign and the new changes so we're gonna eat that either we like it or not.
That's just saying how bad they know campaign is, that they have to obligue people to play it...

here is an idea... campain that only takes couple hours so people dont mind doing it ?

Or maybe they can make the campaign less tedious and better integrated with the eventual endgame?

No waystones need to get into a campaign map, you could put a waystone if you want to, but if not the map would be just scaled to your level. No waystone sustainability? Don't worry, just make some of your preferred campaign maps and let them drop waystones for your current level.

Optional campaign, but there are many passives you wanna get, there's bosses you can farm, there's some good maps you wanna repeat.

At the moment the campaign is all the oposite: never wanna repeat, just wanna pass by faster as possible, boring because you already know what is has to offer, and on top of that is so long that just thinking to make a new char makes me take the agenda and check to reserve the whole week.

yes the campaign is way too long. in d4 u can beat it in 5-10 hours then your on end game grind. or u can skip it then grind up from there. they need to understand ppl work now days, everything is made for streamers in mind. i have never even got to the endgame because i gave up on the second go through on act1-3, i have better things to do with my time. this game can be hard, but it should value your time.

i have a better solution.

issue with making new chars is, people do not wanna play lvl1-6x again.

the campaign itself isn't the issue here... its the low levels.

i propose a new char that starts at lvl60, but has to complete the campaign but from lvl60.

so itll be something like from lvl60-75 for the entire campaign, and people need to hunt for points and important rewards. with this, at least drops wont be completely useless like lvl1-10 useless.

at least people wont feel that bad anymore with useless low tier rewards.

there's of course the issue of bots speedrunning this with rewards.... dont have an exact solution for this being the only problem
