They gave us loot and....

The number went up for 1 day and then went right back to where they were lol. Having better loot doesn't help when LS is still 80% of builds. They should have buffed skills at the same time, then people would have something to farm with this better loot. Im still playing, but I would love to have more then LS. Yes yes I know there are some off meta builds and LICH and smith they are so slow in comparison! I did start my smith today, but that means I have played all 4 top builds now. LS deadeye, LS Blood, chaos lich, and now leveling Smith. I miss the days when a tier list had 20-30 builds... now, this season, it has 4. Help us out here GGG start buffing some skills pleaseeeeeeee

because all along loot was never the problem. The problem is build diversity and boring chase items if any. not to mention items are far too cheap and accessible.

There are no Challenges to grind for rewards.
LS and few other builds clearly outperform the others and make the game trivially easy.

People who left literally finished the game and that is because they can press 1 button to clear entire screens and delete bosses in 5sec.

Buffing other builds to this level of power won't make much difference.
The solution is to nerf top-performing builds to the level of average power level, so people play longer and are challenged to actually beat the bosses and content.

The solution is PLAYER AGENCY! Its always the solution. When you take it away, you get a shit game.

PoE is synonymous with player agency. PoE2 has the PoE in its name. Player agency is expected but not present.

You cant be a toaster company that sells toasters for 15y and then release a new model of toaster that instead of toasting bred BOILS POTATOES. We have different companies for that already!

Literally only 4 players in the whole season have reached level 100. Finishing the game is not why people left.
I understand what a lot of you are saying, however I still stand to my opinion. Build diversity is a HUGE problem. LS might be over tuned but when 80% of the player base is using it in in 80% of builds.... That should tell GGG and the community that its what they are looking for. Now the question GGG has to ask is, is it the power, the speed, what is making 80% of the player base want to use LS. I use lightning spear deadeye for my currency farmer and here is my reasons

1) The speed of movement, I am slowed to all hell and back until I get on the Rhoa and then I have ZERO movement penalty which is AMAZING! My blood mage isn't that fast, and is punished for casting, same with my lich... don't know about the smith yet as he isn't in end game.

2) The power! I have full screen clears as long as I can keep my frenzy charges up(combo game play at its best GGG) I have a 1 or 2 shot serpents on any t15 boss which is great as long as I use the combo to get frenzy charges(again combo play and I love this combo)and have a wall, so all in all power wise its a beast and I LOVE it!

3) it only cost me 2 Devine to get it to t15 maps. In a market where EVERY single item is insanely priced cause there is only 3 builds and they are mostly running ES and 2 are running LS. I probably wouldn't have spent that much if I was patient seeing I found 3 tangletounges.

4) its not over complicated for no reason. im not running cast on crit, I manually mark, I know some will say its still a 1 button build. its till challenging in certain maps. You have to pay attention to the rhoa so you don't get hard stunned. Your a glass cannon so if you arent paying attention you will die.

But I have to say my biggest reason I play it is a combination of all of those which for me equals

I move around a reasonable pass. Im not poe 1 fast, but im not poe 2 snails pace. I kill more than 1 add at a time and im not running for my life the hole time waiting for my magic to come back of a rare with a blue circle and speed modifiers to get stuck on a corner. im not min maxed, it didn't take me 3 weeks to get to t15 maps and it doesn't take me 30 mins to clear a single map. do I think its to powerful, no.. I play ARPGs to be POWERFUL. do I want it to be more powerful? NO I think it's in a perfect spot.

I do want more builds to get to the same place. for me it's the movement speed, I don't mean give me rocket jets. I want to be able to move from one pack to another and kill the pack without being slowed by 70% while im casting. I want to be able to escape from a pack that swarms me. Dodge roll is a joke. Here let me give you a defense ability but penalize you for using it. I also want them to take away bosses and adds being able to knock you around. nothing worse than being slow as heck, have a cast time or wind up on an attack just to be pushed across the screen and interrupted, stunned, killed.

inclosing, I think what they should do is difficulty wise early game is in a good place, buff builds to be inline with LS and buff the difficulty of T15 and add a few more Map layers to accommodate the build power for the ones that want a harder game play. What I mean is give t15 monsters more health. Don't do anything else crazy GGG. start with the health on t15 Maps only. Let the builds COOK and gain the power creep.

That's my opinion, might not be everyones... but I think it has a few good ideas.

How about us that didnt get to your extreme rich guy EZ mode club how about dont make it worse for is in the Have Not club.

Its ALWAYS THE SAME in live service games.... Mr Has Everything feels like their use case applies to the one who has NOTHING yet in the game.

So sick of people like you. Go do something in real life. You do know there is a sun and air and a blue sky to enjoy too right?
The defensive layer sucks, if your build gets one shot everywhere in endgame, the only build you can go for is to one shot bosses as well.
