Delirium and Breach are still wrong set
" Well obviously, in order to do those you need to do the boss of each tree multiple times which takes a long time. Especially in SSF, and guess what, if you manage to gather 300 breach splinters you can still not get any points because you didnt reach the boss before the timer runs out. I am literally 8/8 in expedition tree while 0/8 in the breach tree and like 2/8 on ritual 0/8 on delirum too but that's cuz i still haent gotten enough splinters https://poe2.ninja/profile/character/rjum7ks5jqfi/Ash-9143/Ash_the_vile

" You know, I think of all the things I'm getting tired of hearing, the thing I'm getting tired of hearing the most is how difficult the game is for people in SSF. Literally you picked the mode of the game that exists for people who want a more punishing experience divorced from the player economy. You're going to have a harder time upgrading your gear which means you're going to progress through all the content more slowly. Everything is going to take you longer to accomplish and will be far more difficult for you. There are some things you might never achieve if your luck runs cold. "I'm having a really hard time progressing in SSF" like good dude. That's the f'ing point. That means it's working. If you're playing SSF and not enjoying it, you absolutely know how to solve your problem. You do know. I know you do. Last edited by Kerchunk#7797 on May 4, 2025, 10:07:46 PM

Not sure what is gained by pretending that GGG never takes the non-trading experience into account.
A thing can be of secondary importance while still being a consideration, and SSF being a challenge mode does not mean that there is no desired limit to the degree of greater difficulty or tediousness. There was a time when trading for gems was supposed to be a core part of PoE 1, but with the same patch that added SSF as a recognized game mode, a vendor was added selling all quest-obtainable gems. Obviously not a coincidence. I do not play hardcore. Still, I've never felt a desire to try to nastily shut down feedback from HC players when they complain about one-shots or other things that have a disproportionate effect on them, pointlessly reminding them that they were the ones who chose to play HC. Unnecessary. |

" This is such a funny reply because it shows how out of touch the average metaslave is with the average casual player. The average player bought poe2 to play the game, not spend time in base trading, they might use the currency exchange but most never waste their time doing trades even when playing standard. Standard league does not mean it’s all about trading, metaslaves simply forgot this game is about enjoyment and think because using trade is the most optimal meta thing everyone must be using it. Your experience is not the average experience because most people are not as trade obsessed as the average poe2 metaslave who spends most of their time trading or complains about trade adjacent things https://poe2.ninja/profile/character/rjum7ks5jqfi/Ash-9143/Ash_the_vile Last edited by Ash#9143 on May 4, 2025, 11:00:40 PM

" I don’t play SSF, I’m trade. I have 6/8 breach points and a spare stone to get last points but haven’t got around to it yet. My post was advice to OP, not a complaint for me :) (ALL typos lack of caps, punctuation and general errors are copyright Timbo Industries - Laziness Division)

" Yeah the atlas isn’t endgame as such, the ‘endgame’ is once you’re on tier 15s. It’s a huge grind, but in my opinion why we play (to grow and get there). T9 is good, your pace is your pace and whether 90% or 1% are ahead of you is meaningless. Just keep doing what’s fun, and the additional ‘endgame’ stuff will be there when you’re ready :) (ALL typos lack of caps, punctuation and general errors are copyright Timbo Industries - Laziness Division) Last edited by Timbo Zero#8289 on May 5, 2025, 7:13:23 AM
