The Biggest mistake atm is incresed drops ..
Serious ggg You go for Sunday players? what about regular players?
We want to feel satisfaction with drops .. want to feel WOW whern divine is dropeed ... Now We feel ""oh another div""
Fix "Rarity"was good and must have decizion , but incresed drops that much its mistake .. its road to nowhere
its simple .. when You can everything(div) get FAST your satifaction and fun gone too FAST .. hope the drops wil be FIX

0.1.0 was to much inc drops
0.2.0 was "no drop" ..
0.2.0f very to much inc drops ...

FIX is find the balance between 010 and 020

the bigger balance problem is performance/cost ratio. people are too strong for cheaps.

spending just 1 divine and being able to play t15 is just not correct design.

Remove trade (leave trade between party members only), buff drop rates and encourage players to craft.
then getting 'good' items dont feel as rewarding.

right now, true, bad loot drops.... and there isn't anything that drops to make me feel, omg gamechanger.

this feels so much greater now omg
`Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL
`What are divs?`

I'm actually very convinced the core of ggg's success had already left, and its the interns that remain. Can't otherwise explain the strange quality of releases, technical errors, strange concepts, little care to performance.

I'm now extremely worried for POE1. POE2 is pretty much done.

I don't think that's the main issue, I think the problem is they're trying to develop two games simultaneously with a team size and management structure for developing a single game effectively.

They need to expand and split into two teams to be able to handle both games if they want to succeed because currently they're stretched too thin and end up rushing out updates with horrendous consequences when bugs arise.

Also Jonathan needs to drop his Todd Howard complex unless he wants to repeat the same mistakes Bethesda did by relying on one person to oversee everything.

You are a hundred percent correct Devil, it is a early access. But is a early access that they are making almost for a year.

5 months = almost a year ?

Its crazy how toxic players of PoE2 want to exagerate things...

content difficulty being played -AND- your gear. I'm not one to advocate tier1 mapping and expecting the finest of rewards thanks to all gear.

your gear is part of that challenge on top of map mods, and whatever juicing modifications. the way they worded what they did to gear MF gives me the vibes that they gutted it significantly, and I will speak against it.

Even if you remove MF mods, gear would still be important for looting if the rewards is based on content difficult. You would still need gear good enough to survive maps with high % of delirious, or to proc the maximum number of Expedition Remnant, or do those bosses at difficult 4. etc. You also need good DPS on your gear to clear map faster, and that means more loots.

If you think well enough about that, MF mods are redundant. If they are felt like required that only means that content is not being rewarding enough and that is a problem.
simple answer.. leadership changed in GGG and not for the better.. apparently.. and they are stuck with their vision for the game which they think is fun because it was fun for them to play for 30 mins or 1 hour completely ignoring the fact that players look at it from different view entirely of .. how fun is it to play 10k hours.

If you wanna be specific in time pointers it is 146 days, 10 hours, 47 minutes and 11 seconds. But that is not the main point of the reply. And yes, 146 days, or 6 months, is ALMOST one year, if you think that times does not go back, and just go to the future.

But if you want to be more specific in dates, the announcement of the game was in November 2019, Literally 5 years and 1 month (because we are beeing specific here, aren't we?) before its early access. So I imagine they are building the game for at least what? 8 years? How in 8 years they could not measure this kind of stuff.

A early access purpose is defined as the following:

Funding Development -> Developers earn money early to fund ongoing work without needing a publisher or loans. Yes, they are gaining a lot from supporter packs, so money is been achieved as the planned lol

Player Feedback -> Real player input helps shape game balance, features, and fix bugs that internal teams may miss. There is no shaping at all, for the seasons we got the following cicle: The drops start the season ridiculously bad, than the community claims more loot, they give more loot. That is not balance at all, they do not determined nothing, the next season will be same s* again. And that is the main point of the forum post, they do mistakes, wait for people to claim explanation and them they say (we are improving drops), there is no "making it better" involved, just ending some fires.

Community Building -> Early adopters become invested in the game's growth and help spread awareness. Yes, we are. Buying supporter packs, investing also hours and hours. Seems like we are doing our part

Iterative Design -> Developers can test features in the wild, refine mechanics, and pivot based on how players actually play. Sorry, i can't say that those interview are interactions, 'cause they simply drop some s* on a video and that's it. The GM never respond to someone, maybe I'm just not a youtuber who knows.

Transparency -> It sets the expectation that the game is not complete, reducing backlash over bugs or missing features. Joke 🤡
The update is shit . Im playing solo and running to some few exalts. but nothing good since yesterday ...

This looting system is so unrewarding and even in party plays it is so bad.
Each person in a party should see his own loot simple as that and let us play in groups where we enjoy it.
This makes me happy to hear. That means my currency as a more casual player has value to you a try hard.

Now I can finally afford to buy things from you.

Great patch.
