"They didn't do any nerfs. They fixed a bug. Something they said they absolutely would do. Stop building around obvious bugs... Edit: Also, can we take a moment to recognize that this "no mid-'league' nerf" policy contributes to Dawn of the Lightning Spear. It's dominant, but they can't nerf. They could buff everything else, but if they don't want player power at LS's current level, that just means it all gets nerfed again between leagues and everyone will hate that. Or they could then buff everything in the game again, but that still leads to players feeling less powerful than before and complaining. In reality, everything leads to some portion of the player base complaining. Just nerf mid-'league'. I have multiple problems with the game, have played plenty enough (3 character with min lvl 91). So, I think the game has fundemental problems: - Game feels way too punishing: Having three tries for pinnacles is great change imo. But 1, losing 10% exp if you die feels bad. Pretty bad, especially on higher levels like 90+. I hope this will be changed to 5%. As someone going forward with the game, trying to push forward by doing harder contents (juice) it becomes quite encouraging. I think the game should courage people to try to do harder stuff, with exp and loot.... not encourage by punishing them with 1h or so exp loss. -Loot: Imma ask you dear GGG if you feel happy what you have caused with all the rarity, exp punishments? Because all I see, at this very point is: people leave, or go leech.... Tho yeah, some people solved the problems.... They "run it up" their exp, and tell others to join them, they farm with "rarity bots"... great stuff. Im sure people appreciate it. I actually dont even understand why, or how this even like this: 150% rarity?! Why even?! lmfao And thats where it gets "soft capped"?! This is so bad... Some people even pay for "rarity bots", they make parties wheres 1-2 actually good builds with high damage, high resistance, etc and 1-2 rarity bots. This is not how the game should be, is it? Cos if yes, I will have to accept that GGG rather rewards people who just go for "busted" gameplay, instead trying to make good builds, understand game mechanics and how things work. I watched Jonhantans interviews, and he said a lot of stuff like people should tell them about their problems, what feels right, and most importantly what feels wrong with the game. Well, I think a lot of people have said these stuff already, I read a lot of complaints about these. Saw pretty small changes as of now tho... Nerfing quantity, or even stopping it wont make much change. You can see that people still say its not "there". To give you an idea what I think would be way better: - Instead 10% exp loss make it 5% (small punishments okay, as it can be "motivating" or well stopping force for people just go blindly forward. - Rarity gets soft capped on equipments to 30%, and hard capped on 50%. With maps, and tablets being the real "push" for this. Even this should be balanced some way, but at least it would be not possible for people to go 500-1000 rarity with leechers. These are my main issues with the game, and if it wont change I think I will stop playing the game soon enough. And probably not just for a bit. Smaller issue, related to trading: I think trading should be auto, not "Oh I got whisper, I need to leave the map". I got multiple whispers when Im doing temple of chaos, or even about to fight Xesht. Should I even mention the so called "price fixers"?! Lmao Or the people who just change their prices based on if it gets buyers quick or not?! Its very weird. And general chat is always full of: "linked item" pc? |

" It's not a bug that a skill can crit. It what made it unique and synergized with an ascendancy node in the game. They eliminated the synergy, and removed 150% or more of the damage by eliminating the synergy with the ascendancy node. Calling it a bug is just GGG's way of justifying eliminating viable play options. it's basic economy. Remove competition so that more monetization is done with what is available. They pull the levers and can manipulate how profitable items are from specific builds. This is a business. They are interested in making money. Not interested in how much fun a player is having. Slowing the game down and creating "meaningful battles" is a nice sales gimmick to motivate people to have no other option then to buy their speed in a game. Real money trading is acceptable practice for Chinese gaming. 10 cent is a Chinese gaming company that is motivated buy profit generating activities. Removing build diversity funnels monetization towards a few select builds with their respective items. IT's just easier to monetize items in this game when a few builds are the clear choice to play it. They will rinse and repeat this with each new launch of a new class. the new class will always have the most power, and GGG with remove the power from existing builds that rival the new class. This perpetuates reoccurring monetization with each season. Just a business that is interested in making revenue. Hope this clarifies some of the motives. |

Btw, should I even mention that even the so called "deterministic" crafting is gamble?! lmfao What even?! Like I use fractured orbs to fix a stat on my item, and its random?! I CANT SPECIFY WHAT I WANT TO KEEP?! LITERALLY, INSTEAD MAKING MY ITEMS BETTER, MAKING IT WORSE?! LOL This is actually so funny, man.... Combinator... right... with less than 5% chance to be succesful at times....Good GAMBLE AGAIN.... |
