I think the community should be pretty understanding with this one. Really impressive uptime on the game overall. Thanks GGG and I hope no devs stressed out all day/night over this mishap. Keep on trucking and having fun making this amazing game.

Sincerely thanking GGG for their transparency and efforts. We all care for the game to be great and long-lived, so if that database thing was always going to happen at some point, better now than later. As for every other change and hurdle - let's test stuff and clear the way together

The number of people replying like zombies "it's early access , it's normal" is frightening. Almost like an Army of Bots.
Especially in a problem that is just pure incompetence and has nothing to do with early access.
The community has been asking for a buff to drop-rateș for a month and the patch could have been deployed without any issue. But GGG just had to include some nerfs to skills and bricked the game.
Those guys are humans. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you're allowed to be impolite and harsh with your feedback.
People who act like this are generally the same ones who look down on others face to face...
There are no bots here—just fans and human beings appreciating the effort put into a game we've spent hundreds of hours playing.
Also, I think the vast majority of players like me who are just enjoying the game and dont come here to give feedback are fed up with the children crying and claiming they represent the majority of the community, when the retention data clearly shows that's not true. We all know it's the louder, younger portion of the community—hypocrites with 500 hours of playtime—who still try to hurt the developers.
this league kept a retention of 200k players from a 220k start base for 11 days... (steamdb data just google it)
point me out another league that had this sucess.. and this is Early access...
Game is far from perfect, but already awesome... and trying to hurt it will only make the company hurts, and guess what will be the place they will cut investment? the game with 30k concurrent players or the one with 200k in EA?
Grow up or GET OUT OF HERE, haters. We don't need you.
More empathy, please.
Thank you for this. This is my first post ever on these forums after thousands and thousands of hours of PoE gameplay (1 & 2). These "doomers" are insane, immature, unreasonable, ungrateful and ignorant. GGG has been a beacon of light as a game developer for MANY years (the Gold Standard in my opinion). They have always delivered... always. These people may believe that "EA isnt an excuse!", but GGG is trying to mature a game into the playable state that we all want. They were just nice enough to let us play while that process is still in flight.
Amen.

Couldn't agree more.
The haters being so mad they have to claim "reasonable is bot" when they're just following the path of least resistance (and the latest streamer's outburst) always makes me chuckle.
