Do you test your patches before dishing them out to the masses? How do you send out a patch that breaks a very needed part of the game? I work in game development and I guarantee our studio would never release a patch that was not ready. We test EVERY patch extensively before it is released.

In game development but can't conceive of unforeseen interactions and bugs that may not show themselves until patch is deployed and live. Right. Instead of seeing they immediately responded and began working on the issue you bitched while proclaiming your competency in the industry. I call bullshit.

ARPG's are meant to be fast paced, fun, loot filled, GOD MODE games. If I wanted a stupid boring long grind I would play WOW or any other generic boring long grind MMO.
You have lost the fun behind an ARPG!

Meant to? Bro did you play D1 back in the day? Hell, D2? This game is a hell of a lot faster than whatever golden standard you're comparing it to. You're projecting what YOU want in a genre and saying that's what is necessary and expected. This whole post is a whiny joke. Talking all this shit when the reason you're mad in the first place is you can't play the game you're actively shitting on. Come on man...

you'd understand it if you're in software development industry. there needs to be a few checkpoints in order to deploy something. you can think losing skill gems allocated in your skill tabs is like losing money deposited in one of your bank accounts.

it's something that should never happen and has an easy way to automate testing on a test user/character.

it's ok for you to like ggg but it's not ok to dismiss the opinions that follow logic correctly.

It's not following logic correctly...
The server will be completed at 4:30 a.m. on May 5, 2025 (UTC)
EU players waking up excited to see the patch update on Steam.. :)))))
No update on ps5
Let them sort it out and stop couch stomping with your rage.

It might be helpful for those wondering when the servers will be up by stating when its available, not "some features will be unavailable". Lots of people will be FOMO with the current message.

If it wasn't kickass people would "not" be complaining.

I just wish people would think a little. Its a great game, it is early access... they care about it because they like it.

And yet reviews on Steam have reached "Mostly Negative" because of impatient twits.

Okay, I get you've got a grievance with issue "xxx", along with 100-1000+ hours played... but when you jump on the bandwagon and start doing things like that, here's what happens...

> Less people buy game due to poor user reviews
> Clickbait news articles start spamming "POE 2 gets Mostly Negative!! OMG"
> Viewbait streamers go "OMG this is so bad xxxx" (but know the views are there for a game with so many active players, so clickbait...)
> GGG is pressured by leadership, investors and managers to immediately turn all this around, because it is terrible and they want to protect their bonuses/share options

And what some people think is that means their own personal little issue will get fixed faster, what it actually means is the hundreds of hours that have gone into development and project plans get thrown out the window, management has to sit in meetings constantly re-planning, the devs get dispririted because people "hate" their game and management keeps changing their priorities...

So - complain a lot, review-bomb the game...

And slow down the actual development and progress.

Or... shock-horror... provide constructive criticism on the forums with feedback on the issues encountered and engage with the development team in a more positive way, rather than doing the equivalent of walking into a mcdonalds, getting pickle on your burger, and then screaming for the manager because the entire staff is incompetent and you demand a refund and damages.

Bad take, people's complain are valid. It's not review-bomb if it's game related, it's not like people aren't recommending the game on steam because it's woke. The game just feel terrible right now, and developer and other people should know about it, not just forum goers. You wouldn't want others to have a bad first experience in the game.

This is a paid product. We get to demand standards.

The game was not "review bombed" look up what that means. It was an organic response by the player base that was dis-satisfied. Dont imply it was in any way artificial. It was deserved.

Wrong. You dont get to DEMAND STANDERS. You get to like or dislike, praise or criticize. Saying it was organic is also not true. It was lead by real players and feed by streamers.

A "review bomb" is a phenomenon where a large number of people, often through coordinated campaigns, post a surge of negative reviews of a product, service, or business online to harm its reputation or sales, according to Wikipedia and Cambridge Dictionary. These reviews are often intended to express disapproval or disagreement with the product or company, rather than reflecting a genuine opinion on the product itself.
doesnt buffing loot mean the players are done with their gear sooner? and thus perhaps done with the league sooner?
theres a balance here
anyway i will try out your update as soon as i have time

Good patch.

Affix tiers are still backwards tho.
PLEASE go back to the poe1 system

This! tired of having to go to a website to confirm if a roll is the best tier or not. We all still call top rolls tier 1 anyways
