Poe2 is aimed towards a different demographic, they are not forcing any one to switch. We are just mot their target audience for their new game.

I have played for 13 years, well over 20,000 hours and skipped completely only one mechanic and that was the lame TOTA. Unfortunately there are some other players who like it (shakes my head) so I don't think GGG got the message that we love the base game and the best mechanics (IMO) augment that wonderful base game. There you go.

can we get phrecia mtx rewards in these events? 🥺

I don't see any option about making the private leagues as SSF only (SSFHC in my case). I'm actually concerned about the characters' migration at the end of the event.
There's no way i'm gonna play it if the characters get migrated in HC settlers instead of SSF HC Settlers (or SSFHC)...

I thought exactly this, but re-reading the Phrecia extension announcement there's no indication it would return beyond 1 month of private leagues.

At least they're reserving the possibility of them returning as Events and whatnot in the future, so not completely gone. (From the Private League FAQ.)

I was wrong, GGG flat out state in the original Phrecia FAQ:
[W]e will also be adding alternate Ascendancy Classes and Idols Endgame system individually as Private League options some time after the event so you can experiment with them as long as you want.

The leagues are available to create. There is no SSF (no Ruthless either). They didn't make these Void, but I guess they are Void for players who wanted to Migrate to SSF.

The ladder is the key missing piece here. We love ladder resets. You race against other people, compare to others, etc. Single-person private leagues are gonna be lonely indeed.

Yeah I was gonna do Sentinels until I saw it's 3.25 Sentinels, and more importantly I realized there's a better option: Standard + Gauntlet + Alt Ascendancies. First time we can try special Gauntlet bosses in a non-Hardcore setting. Should be fun with OP Alt Ascendancies.


While I have major issues with how all this was set up, at the end of the day they've given us something, when they could have had an empty month. There's some typical PoE fun to be had here. You start planning a project, figure out the puzzle. All that PoE good stuff we like to chew on.
