After trying out D4's latest season I can say PoE 2 is a godsend

Absolutely opposite. D4 runs smoothly as hell, 60 constant FPS, reasonable amount of fun, content. Graphics are good. We're chilling with my wife on Ps5 couch-coop. Huge relief after crappy 0.2

That is the beauty of 2025 game industry... there are games and fun for everyone.

D4 isn't my cup of tea, but can't deny the game works, performes well and provides fun for those whom like to casually chill.

Something PoE 2 is falling to do, the game is broken, has hugh performances issues and doesn't provides fun.

Sad the white knighting is killing any hope the game will improve and meet the expectations created by their marketing division.

The game for sure has major performance issues but the rest is BS. If you find fun in playing a literal brain rot that's D4, then good for you. That game is ass.

D4 is a joke. But I'd still argue its a lot better than POE2.

D4 feels pretty pointless due to not having any endgame at all bar running the same type of dungeon ad nauseum. It still does a few things better than POE 2:

- campaign skippable. Just create a new character and immediately start playing the game as you like to play it if story is not your cup of tea.

- progress in early game. Constantly new gear that makes sense and is an upgrade from what you wear (granted in late game it gets super stupid by all classes relying on 2-3 of the same small number of uber uniques to complete the build)

- visually it's on par with POE 2 but it runs SOOO MUCH smoother. Actually, it looks a lot better than POE2 because i don't have to use weird af AI upscale and dynamic resolution that looks like mush to get even remotly close to a playable framerate. Game visuals are super crisp.

D4 certainly took a dive.

I thought POE2 was incredibly fun at the end of the last "league". Was on tier4 maps on SFFHC. After the update, played the first few days and quit. Tried to play some since but it has just been meh at best.

Last Epoch, tried it for the third time after the update. Just can't get into it. I absolutely hate the 5 skill lock. Then the combat just feels meh.

At this point, waiting for Grim Dawn Expansion and the next POE2 league.

D4 is graphicly 100 years old.
