After 300h POE2 and 20h LE,Really want to say something to GGG
I don't want to issue about loot or fun about it
But Qol of player in LE is really nice,why can't we get it? 1.Difficulty Most people think poe2 is harder than LE,but actually,NO. LE just more smooth than poe2,average from campaign to corruption 500 or more. before lv50,I never feel damaged at lv50-60,I begin damaged at lv60-70,I begin to die at lv70-80,I begin to be one shot Why we should be one shot from the start? beginer need time to learn in such a depth game,you can try to be kind. 2.Inflation What's worest in a trading game? -- Inflation You can't play a game when you want a equip in market,pay many effort for it,and find it just more far away from you. Not to mention sometimes Inflation comes from severely bug In LE,factions can used to avoid Inflation I won't have a wild hope that poe2 can make similar factions,but currency can be more useful with amounts to recycle them. such like you can use 5e to confirm new affix at least t2,maybe 500e to confirm t10. 3.Upgrade Interval In POE2,all my character only upgrade equip 3 times when enter endgame at lv65,I use 1e/piece to buy a set of equip to level up when about enter T15 at lv80,I use about 15e/piece to buy second rarity set to farm T15-T18 finally at about lv90,I use about 1d/piece to buy final set to fight pinnacle T4 I won't excellent for a single nice piece loot or currency loot,because I can't use it instant. There are too much things to balanced on ONLY equipment,like life,resistence While in LE,you can get them on different ways,like passive tree,blesses,Idols So even LE has 7 resistence to balance,it's equipment still more flexible than POE2 When you change one piece,you just need to modify these flexible things to fit,not find another set of equipment. We just need someting like this,too. 4.Filters Filters in LE base on auto identified items just leading for decades Why we must do like primitive that pickup,right click scroll,left click it,then left click again to drag it,then drop it? 5 times meaningless effort on millions useless pieces bro. I can't say anything about the complexity. This is very different for different classes, the character's equipment, development path, etc. I think there's something like that in LE, too.
But regarding other points of problems, there is something to suggest for changes. To reduce currency inflation, it is worth adding ways to spend it. The main problem is not that there is little or a lot of it falling. Although the balance of the fallout of the spheres of exaltation and the divine should be made not permanent, but somehow dynamic. It's hard to come up with something ready-made right away, but it would help in part. Add ways for the divine spheres to dispose of them. There is a pretty good example in the first part with the ability to change the type of resistance to the elements on the subject. Or, for example, so that for 10 divine spheres you can remove/add any parameter for an item with 5 properties. There are many options, but they must include ways to dispose of both the divine spheres and the spheres of exaltation. You see that you got two bad parameters out of three and you won't throw a sphere of exaltation at the object. The use of divine spheres for their intended purpose generally makes sense only on some single objects. Even if you have 1,000 divine spheres, you won't throw it at an item with a chance to change the parameter from 22% to 24%. Or maybe even change another parameter that suited you. Perhaps they should come up with a use not only for changing objects. Regarding the difficulty of updating equipment due to the need to select the entire set at once or adjust the right thing to a certain parameter, I completely agree. This problem was solved in the 1st part by a workbench. I think it will be added to the second part over time. Now there are often times when you want to change a piece of equipment and have to choose it with exactly the right resistance to the elements, because there is no way to change the type of resistance. Try and play SSF, you might have a much more enjoyable time finding your own gear, than paying for it in trade league. |

" I tried hc ssf died at about lv70 I don't think suck means fun. slow pace can be but in poe2 it's not,no one want to be carefully to treat every monster on map with hundreds of them. Even if I don't need to work and can stay home play 10h a day I still have many games to play,not only feel suffer here. And In Fact,Most people not play SSF,and you shouldn't expect them to play. |

About difficulty, there is a hidden Veteran difficulty in Last Epoch that will change your rating A LOT.
But it's optional and you can remove or add it as you want depending on your character strength and the type of challenge you want. |

LE is an infinite scaling endgame, its as hard as you want it to be.
when you die you never feel like you were cheated. i dont feel the same way about poe2 the hardest part of poe 2 is the 1st 3 acts. and some classes even make that trivial. the easiest part is endgame ironically. it can be hard but if you look at what people are playing a majority of people are not playing hard mode. another glaring issue is why push the pinnacle content in poe2. the loot tables got nerfed so bad that its more profitable to just sell your entry fragments than to do the content. |

" Actually I've played every class at about 95lv,not any class can be hard if you look around other people's build It's cheap to copy others build in POE2,everyone can use rake/minion/warcry/posion arrow/etc many things to complete campaign easily. of course you can do samething like that at endgame,but,this game is not fun for loot,you don't have craft to get a least benefit,all the ways are gambling for chance below 0.1% to get some good things,even not the best. It's TIRED. On the other way,POE2 has the most depth building gameplay,it's the almost the only gameplay can beat any other same type games. If you follow others build even in endgame,you just give up the ultimate chase. I've played many build can easily pass t18 map or t4 pinnacle most of them never seen other one used.like str throw spear/chaos shield charge it's fun,but Inflatio take me longer and longer to try new ones. |

I want and require danger from lv1. If there is no danger in lower levels the game would fall flat like all other games in the genre.
