Broke down and installed Last Epoch
the craft in PoE 1 is far superior to LE, so there’s no need to overcomplicate things. And it’s pretty clear that PoE 2’s crafting is incomplete at this stage – so let’s wait and see?"

" Exactly. Most all ARPG's incorporate ideas and/or concepts from other games. The basis for PoE 1 was, by the devs own admission, and attempt to modernize Diablo II. Looking at good things in other games that can then be incorporated to improve the PoE franchise is completely valid. It's amazing how many forum trolls there are here; any attempt to use examples or ideas to improve the game is immediately met with harsh resistance and statements like "why are you even here? Go play LE, then, if you like it so much." This adds nothing to the discussion on how the user base would like to see the game progress. If you love PoE 2, then point to, say, how you think the crafting system in PoE 2 is better than LE, and back up your statements with examples. There's so many posts by GGG fanatics and/or rage baiters it's gotten completely out of hand. No one can post any criticisms about the game without being met by this kind of garbage. Why are we still posting here if we're no long playing PoE 2? Because we still care about the game and want it to succeed. Just because we don't like the current version doesn't mean we've completely written it off. |

" This is the Feedback forum for a game in early-access and not yet beyond hope of saving. If we don’t describe very frankly the stuff we dislike, it has no chance of getting fixed. Are we supposed to take the mediocre slog that is POE 2 and NOT provide frank negative feedback? If we did that, we are indeed shills for poor game developers. (I know YOU are not suggesting this, of course) If this game doesn’t become SIGNIFICANTLY more fun to play, it will fail financially and disappear. And that requires we tell these people guiding the development that they are FAR off track. |

" I completely agree. Although after watching the recent Jonathan interviews and watching the one segment about "the vision," I'm not optimistic. IMO, Jonathan has dug his heels in, and will see his "vision" of the game come to reality no matter what the player base says. I think a lot of people that have watched the interviews and "the vision" will come to the same conclusion. I just hope "the vision" will be something enjoyable. But if 0.2 is any indication... well, you can see where I'm going with this, I'm sure. |

Understood.
I am not so bleak, but there’s a lot of work to do. We only see part of the picture and the part we can see (these forums) is like social media- not completely representative of reality. GGG has access to a lot of data. I have no idea what that data is telling them. I *think* it’s saying they have a serious problem. They’re acting like that. But it’s probably NOT clear exactly what to change and 0.2 had all the vibes if “let’s over-need now do we can buff. God knows we don’t want to nerf twice.” Maybe too much attention is on the nerf-bat, and totally not enough of the structural problems of the game (trading). Time will tell. I hope to see some positive change. But for myself, I’m done for the foreseeable future. |

I haven't broke down and installed LE yet, but I have been contemplating it.
It's in GGG's best interest that I don't. Because once I start playing, learning, and spending money on a different game, I won't be doing it here. For now, I've been playing agar-io. Pressing W to shoot, space to split, and killing others while trying not be killed is far more entertaining than POE2. And by more entertaining, I mean I can actually load it up and play for 15 minutes before getting bored and doing something else. Whereas with POE2, I cannot be bothered with logging in. The current state of POE2 is that un-fun. Clock's ticking GGG. |

" Maybe you should watch streamers play, if you are unable to entertain yourself... You know what? Moving to LE is actually good idea. Should definitely do it... |

" It is good to understand when you hit your limits, and there is nothing wrong with giving up when you know you are unable to do something. |

" Watching streamers play a video game is not for me. It would be like watching golf, or paint dry, or grass grow. If had to choose from the three, I'd pick watch the grass grow. |

If LE is so good and "everybody plays it now", why it has lost 45% players just in 10 days?
"Very Bad And Terrible" POE2 0.2.0 lost 36% by that time. |
