I would just like to thank Blizzard and the production staff that worked on Diablo III. If it wasn't for their failure of a game, the biggest let down of a game in the 30 something years that I've been playing games on a computer or console or whatever at home, I might never have had the opportunity to play Path of Exile.

Due to the failure of that game, people raged on the forums, and part of that rage encompassed looking for a better game to play. There was so much free marketing for PoE on their rage-filled forums that it's how I found out about this game. Without that, I don't know that I would have found PoE. I tend to just brush off free games, never really looking for or at them, but this one is different.

So, again, thank you Blizzard for leading me in the right direction. Your indiscretions have only helped the gaming world by showing people that a much small company can create a game, on a much smaller budget, that actually appeals to many people over a big coorporate-funded project.

In short, thank you Blizzard, for promoting indie games in a way you probably never envisioned you could. And thank you GGG, for having the cojones to not pander to the lowest common denominator. Stick to your plans, and I believe you will go far.
