Why was Legacy of Phrecia so much fun
New ascendancies were interesting. However the idol system was pretty much clusterfck and hopefully never bring up those necropolis-idols ideas again in the future.
All stash tabs got full of them, and the idea that I'll have to check every single idol if I want to change my mapping only destroys qol. Sure they had better bonuses than atlas, but that was because of the event time. The atlas has been already nerfed too much anyways the last couple of years. |

Pretty sure none of the Phrecia stuff is going to the core game. It was just a bunch of random ideas that got some development done but weren't good enough to be released in the previous few years. If I remember correctly, the devs said as much.
The idol system in particular was a major downgrade from the Atlas tree. It was probably created for one of the leagues before 3.17. |

" Yeah I remember seeing a post saying that idols weren't going core. It did have some benefits over atlas but if anything really emphasized the weaknesses in the current atlas, especially in terms of chances for content or other content. Now while I might not see more than 2 strongboxes short of using an ambush scarab, in Phrecia there were always multiple mechanics in play. Once I migrated into settlers and an atlas it went back to if your expected mechanics didn't pop you were likely to see little to none of whatever else was supposedly available. Yep, totally over league play.
