I don't know how these people survived 0.1...it was the exact same except that you are just not zooming through maps under 5min anymore. Also higher end currencies starts dropping more in maps so it's normal to not have many when you start mapping, not saying it's a good thing, just saying it's unchanged from 0.1

In 0.1 i got a div every 3rd map . And that is raw div. Some days i made 20-30 div raw with just mapping and a ton of other currency .
I linked my ring in the other thread , i had 5 raw divs in 0.2 on a level 96 character that has done more than 500 red maps , 200 hours played .

More importantly, how long did it take you to get from 90 to 96 and how much did that actually improve your characters clear speed of maps? Because for me, I still couldnt reliably run juiced T18 maps without hyperfocusing and still dying sometimes even after upgrading gear from couple dozen exalts to couple dozen divines. Yes I got stronger but ever so marginally that a) the time farming the div felt absolutely unrewarding and b) the clear speed more or less stayed the same still. I still die to a slight lag spike, terrain collision (Steppe is the single biggest moronic map ever designed with hundreds of tiny 1 pixel rocks you get stuck in) or bad luck with mob types/modifiers and getting suprised.
My question is does that ever change even at LV 96 where Im guessing you have gear worth hundreds of div right now? Because - and thats my point and guess - if it doesnt (SIGNIFICANTLY change, not just a slight powerup you dont really "feel"), then whats the point of farming or doing anything in the endgame altogether? Whats the point of upgrading your gear if it takes hundreds of hours to ultimately make no or very very marginal difference? Nobody is going through that and will like it...time feels wasted. Im down to farm 100 hours but I expect that the content I struggle with now will be absolutely trivial by then. Otherwise, farming, gearing and getting stronger is pointless. And that seems to be the biggest problem of 0.2 for me. There just is no point at which at least farming content becomes trivial and that in return makes farming absolutely pointless.
Last season, I went to 97. Instant burnout, realizing the last 3lv will take as much time, as it took to get to 97. And that is not exaturated. So yes, it will get even worse after 96.
You can get all the good maps and tower mods for exp, if you want to push it. But yeah, have fun sorting maps for an hour to play an hour. And that is also not exaturated.
Worst part was, it wouldnt even make a difference. Trade was the only valid/reasonable option to improve at that point.

I am. I am smarter than the people that get filtered after acts. I am smarter than those people since I play spreadsheet gaming of min-max farming and META build in which I spent more hours in PoB / poe2.db and craftofexile while also have 6 different tabs of livesearch to quickly snipe underpriced items when the league started, also micromanaging bubblegum currency to ensure getting max profit in currency exchange npc, then having various quadstash tabs as dump tab to list 10-20-30 exalts items because efficiency is key in to be successful in this game and there is no time to filter all the loot one by one after you finish your map.
I mean, that is just how the game is, that is the actual vision.

smarter? no. more dedicated? yes.
If that's how they envision players to play then count me tf out. I want to blast maps and hear tinks not some warehouse manager/stock portfolio simulator as a second job
