Lastly: there's not even really a comparison to be made in terms of difficulty for both games. They're fundamentally different. With POE2 people dont make it to end game cause its too hard
with LE people dont make it to end game cause its too easy (boring) in both situations, endgame isn't a relevant topic. Only talking about the quality of the endgame is really missing an important aspect and I don't understand why its so common to do that |

I think the game is as hard as it should and the campaign has good difficulty, it is challenging enough to filter bad players. The endgame IMO is the opposite, it is not hard enough, after you get there in a day or two you are doing T15 and fighting every pinnacle bosses. After that it is mindless repetition, as nothing challenges your build anymore and you only improve to see bigger DPS numbers on the screen. The game and retention would improve hard if they include more challenging endgame soon.

If the game was doing better, it wouldn't need people writing goofy posts like this. POE 2 is in a bad state right now and has a lot of folks unhappy with the current direction.

It's Hilarious you say LE end game not hard it shows 90% of you never made to 3000+ corruption maps cause also there Pinnacle boss uber one harder any POE2 boss. In poe2 i can kill every boss at highest lvl in 5 secs. clear every map T16+ maps never die at all. But it still boring.
PoE2 end game sucks has since 0.1. only reason it did well in 0.1 was the loot was better and was more classes and builds to play. in 0.2 end game blows it not fun most players agree it sucks ATM needs a lot of work. loot is just not there. it has other issues. reason for LE dips in player base is cause many player getting ready for d4 and No Rest For The Wicked which both come out this week with new content updates. Also a lot players left both games to also play Oblivion 4 remaster. As for Monster Hunter wilds it has update coming on April 29 that I'm sure will bring back some players with Arch-Tempered Rey Dau coming since it first Arch-Tempered boss in the game. That's not even mentioning all other games most have no clue exist that have big updates coming in next week to few weeks. |

Goes to show if GGG actually listened to the braindead 'feedback' posts trying to turn the game into an LE clone the game would actually fail.
