Dawn of the Hunt feedback

Burned many more hours than I wanted (and should), this is my short list:

- Uncut gem lvl 20 WTF. Dropped five perfect jewellers and ZERO 20 uncuts. Are you bonkers? Introducing hostile RNG even to gem level progression is so GGG

- Get rid of world map. I mean it. It serves no point other than rubbing bugs into our eyes. It is slow, loads slow, to this point, I am unable to quickly return to my home ziggurat as both buttons do nothing. To use Waygate, because for some reason you insist on us clicking it (lame history artifact, unnecessary - why Expedition has a way and Ritual not?), so I need to manually traverse the huge, laggy map to get there. Are you nuts, do you sometimes play your own game? Really frustrated. Paths hide and show randomly, unable to traverse even existing ones, then able to hop over a non-existing one. Gorgeous. Redundant.

- Technical state of the game is tragical. Servers crash often and lose progress. Get it together please!

- Whisps are skip content. Strongboxes are skip content (minus those unique). Are you afraid to reward player for extra effort? Missed the mark by a mile and make me afraid you lost the ability to design rewards. Overall, all the power sources were so butchered it feels repelling. You want me to suffer? I do that every day off screen. When playing I want to crush and loot. Your philosophy does NOT resonate in the very least. Lo behold - there are STILL one button one shot all builds in the game, despite all your efforts to straggle everyone and drown them in slugfest. Yield. Reward time with drops. Period.

- Nerf during leagues. Do not be afraid, you own the house. This is EA. You rob yourselves of feedback when everybody plays three, four skills you forgot to gut.

- Campaign is still the place where this game shines. Endgame is still barely existing. Looking forward for the latter.

Forgot one important thing:

- portals around map device, get rid of them. Fire its designer.

I play PoE for soooo many years and this is the first time I was moved into the instance instead of opening up the device interface so many times, it is not even remotely funny. Really. Re-think the design
AD portals, here is why : in good old golden PoE 1, I always used the bottom portal that is obscuring the map device, sooooo I can click it safely once out to open next map.
Now, I cannot do that any more. Still, feels like you do not play your own game.

That is annoying, especially on controller

Cheap alternative: Make it so the missing map portals are the ones that cover the map device, start backwards or something

Oh still forgot one - why on earth are not map bosses consistently map marked? Feels more like incompetence than design choice.

On some maps, I kill all rares, get map marker to where the boss is hiding so I can kill it next without walking simulator.

On some, however, I do not. I do not even get a hint until I literally trip over the boss.

Hell - why is not ALL extra content consistently marked? Why just rares? Feels like patchwork designing

That one's because the boss marker follows the 0.1 way of not appearing until there are less than 200 (?) mobs left in the map
Agreed, the world map kind of sucks.

I don't want to see all this shit I've already done. It's just a massive eye-sore/bloat.

If you need bookmarks to remember where you were, that's a problem with the system at its core - the bookmarks are just a bandage solution to a bigger problem.

I had no clue this was a thing, thank you.
But then - the game would be kind to let me know it works like this, otherwise, it feels like random bug
If i would be GGG employee, i would just close tab with this thread after reading this:

RNG is RNG, you dropped this or that, someone dropped that or this.

Uncut skills lvl20 drop in area level 82, which is only higher tier boss invitations, highest map area you can reach is 81, so you can drop them in maps aside of gamba box.
