" its an issue with modern arpg's. need it now now NOW |

Inflation would be the answer to that.

" What is the point when you start finding all those low level uniques when you are already in endgame? sure you can use them with your twink but i want to find loot that help my actual character get better, no avail.... |
|
" Low level uniques dropping is a problem. I think the solution to that is unique monsters should drop base types and ilevel equal to monster level +2. rares should drop base type = mlevel = ilevel and white mobs drop any unique. Uniques and rares naturally have a higher drop chance so you should always be geting useable uniques throughout the game with this method |

D2 had some of the most atrocious loot systems I´ve ever played in an ARPG. While D2 had good things going for it, mindless grind for weeks-months was not one of them. 0.1 was fun and rewarding to play. Dawn of the hunt is the complete opposite.
But imagine saying D2 had good loot/grinding system...hahaha Last edited by Qbiken#5394 on Apr 22, 2025, 5:31:19 PM

I agree I dont think loot is really the issue.
I think the mechanics being a bit rng wether they show up, even when you have all their nodes is the problem. Essence spitting out greaters EXTREMELY rarely is a bit silly. Dial that up just a tad on the mechanics and I think we are golden. ![]() /played 3 days 18 hours /kills 127,988 Fire sorc Mash the clean

what loot?

" Good stats Alch orbs could be higher but in saying that I like the "crafting" process of using transmute --> aug --> regal --> chaos if necessary --> exalt --> fracturing --> chaos if necessary --> vaal etc |

+1
The game is designed so that we reach power spikes a lot later than we're used to. There's a noticeable difference in loot from mechanics after you can allocate 6-8 points into it. I think a lot of people aren't juicing towers correctly, or aren't getting their atlas passive points. |
