poe2 is a virtual slot machine.
the slot machine currently never pays out.
if losing at slots is fun for you more power to you.
but im pretty sure gambling for 6 hours plus a day with negative to no payout is a mental disorder you shoudl not be proud of.
get help people, losing slots is not suppose to be fun. its suppose to be a wake up call that there are better things you can do with your time.

Review bombing was/is inevitable with the influx of low effort/skill players.
Not to mention streamers who want to be able to cut their nails whilst 'blasting' and talking to chat on two other monitors, pushing a narrative onto the clueless and mindless masses.
The game has its problems, but things like balance and loot are going to be tweaked multiple times throughout the early access.
Wait it out if it's too much for you right now and if you want to provide feedback, turn to something constructive instead of reiterating the same idiotic slop all the time.

I guess that's an interpretation.. have you considered that the negative reviews are simply because people don't like the direction of the game? The entire point of early access is for people to voice their concerns so that they can be addressed before release, because if PoE 2 was released in this state it would be one of the biggest flops in gaming history.

This guy is just so freaking doom and gloom...
Look at the reviews man...5% of the player base since launch have reviewed it negatively so its clearly the biggest flop of the century.

There is a difference between voicing your opinion constructively and just moaning for more. More loot, more dps, more speed.
What do you want them to do? Buff movement speed by 50%, loot by 100%, damage by what ... 150%?
These things require time to be properly tested and weighted before they are implemented, because they cannot take them away.
If they increase loot too much and the game turns into last epoch/d4, then sayonara - there is no going back with this community.

^this 1,000x
that is why I've always said that people who are crying into the void have never built anything in their entire lives. The amount of care and thought that needs to go into something like this needs to be really fleshed out.

Most positive reviews were on the PoE2 EA start, when the game peaked at 580k.
The negative reviews went wild with 0.2.0, when the game peaked with 245k.
So, referring to "only 5% of the reviews" is less important because the negative reviews display the user's "feedback" NOW. It tells you "63% of reviews are negative" for this period.

The "we can't buff something because if it's too good - we can't take it away" is a strawman they like to use too.
Take only "Affliction"... have you played it!? Have you seen how much loot, especially currency, was generated even by the "casuals"?
Seems like they had no issues "going back".

First 4 negative reviews actually say nothing constructive.
One of them is a 1k hour player that says the game sucks...
Seeing a bunch of salt around not having broken .1 builds anymore....
Someone saying a build requires 100 divines....
Whining about mage builds being dead.... no you just dont know how to build anything without broken archmage and grim feast....
honestly 99% of these seem to just be whining/vulgarity/knowledge issues and not an indicator of anything.
a) it's not a professional review made by a gaming journalist, it doesn't have to be constructive
b) 1k hour could be from 0.1 when it sucked less. Or it could be from poe1 player who really wanted to give the sequel a chance
c) no amount of copium will change "Mostly Negative"
I’m one of these 1k players who dropped negative review. I can expand my review if you want. And no, im not a poe 1 player. Also Mashgesture saw my huge post why 0.2 is realty catastrophic patch.
100 divines build is really bad. It’s so low priced and you can’t push it more, because they buried all engame loot (mostly because 12 socket removal).
I can add link my thread here if you want. Tired to debate with stubborn kids, who just hyping by such a threads ‘you don’t understand, game is difficult that’s why you don’t like it”

So, can the people who believe that Stream reviews don't matter or trust conspiracy theories about review bombing say why PoE 1's Steam score is 89%? How come a game clearly easier and therefore inferior to the genius that is PoE 2 has received so much recognition and respect?
