This game made people look forward to going to work on monday, it made 90% of the streamers run away from it. It's that bad. I dunno, maybe that's why there are mostly negative reviews on steam. Cus the game sucks.

This seems like a very subjective opinion that I do not share and I believe most people don't. And most of it just seems false and exaggerated.

Why are you like this?
we can only pray, that 0.3 will save the loot/game
SSF player✔️

What you on about. The game is ok, with minor issues. Minor, but annoying, very annoying. So yeah, I left negative review too, kind of the way to lash out on the devs for being bungling idiots. Still barely an indicator of "good/bad" game.

But generally the game is fine. You oneshot entire screen with all the rares, and doing it fast. You kill bosses before they can do at least something. What else do you need. It's the same POE1 with the same "Vision". So, if this game is "that bad" for you people, then POE1 too. Then why complain and compare if you don't like both games. Just move on then, that's it.

That ppl said "They look forward to going to work" is actually something ppl said, well, or similar stuff with the same deeper meaning "Things I normally don't enjoy are better than 0.2 than playing it".

That 90% of the streamers left is wrong because it's 92,4%...

The rest of his post is purely presented as subjective, thus, your reply doesn't make sense.

Yeah, but as you said these streamers left the game for other games. And you know what, that's part of their job. They play multiple games and entertain multiple audiences. It's making them get more views. I would not trust the opinion of somebody who has views in mind as their top priority for their business model. Quoting what streamers said in regards of this game is not something that seems very profitable for the game's development if you see it that way.

Their loyalty is clearly somewhere else and not with the quality of this game.

i dont think you understand markets in general.

Today, influence marketing is the best and most powerful tool for leveraging a product in any market. Disqualifying the feedback from this community will not help the game under any circumstances. The game needs this community to be relevant. A significant number of people take into account what this community resonates with, and if you are a lone wolf, know that the vast majority of the market is not.

Not for every streamer/content creator, it's a job.
Furthermore, there are important dynamics between "content creator" and "viewer" that cannot be ignored, which can make it harder to change the game.

That's not how it just works. Being able as a streamer to "entertain" multiple audiences to get more views, thus more money, is actually rare compared to the number of streamers.
These "variety streamers" are watched because, well, they play many different games.
That cannot be said about most PoE streamers (referring to the established ones), if they were to play something else, they lose views, instead of getting more.
So, it's a more reliable assumption to say, "If a PoE streamer decides to stream something else than PoE, especially when he would normally stream PoE, this decision is most likely based on his enjoyment instead of financial gain".

Streamers have less profit if the game has fewer ppl playing it. So, sabotaging the game for financial gains is nonsensical.

Part of the problem is that after 5 years, this is all GGG has to show for it. Let me explain. Crafting was gutted. So it seems they didn't spend a lot time creating a crafting system. They reused mechanics from POE1 with Ritual, Sanctuary, etc. So it seems they didn't spend a lot of time creating new mechanics. I'm still using the same sort of skill system. It's a bit different, but it is still pretty much the same. So it seems they weren't spending a lot time with that.

So after 5 years they managed to gut crafting, reuse POE1 mechanics, and reuses pretty much the POE1 skill system with some tweaks....
So what did they do? Other than making a new engine and bosses that are heavily inspired by Dark Souls? What? This is all they have to show for it?

Don't forget, originally the game was meant to be an add on to POE1. And honestly, with that has changed, it feels like they probably should have stuck with their original idea.

I get the feeling a lot of 0.2 defenders dont really want the game to succeed big on the market and rather have their "exclusive" space with a handful of hardcore gamers. While that might be understandable from their own gaming perspective, it certainly is contrary to what any company wants when they produce a big title. They want it to succeed and be played by many->they have to listen to what the many wants.

the reviews of the game in 0.2 are objectively mostly negative.
the player count is objectively dropping faster than usual.
the vast majority of feedback here and on every other social is objectively negative.

the only thing subjective here is your opinion, which is objectively not in line with what "most people" are saying.

your "vibes" aren't a data point.
