Streamers are the problem

Streamers play the game as a day job [Removed by Support] to buy whatever they need to make the absolute most OP build, and then GGG designs the game around that to make them happy, because they have the loudest toot in the room, but then they just move on to the next FOTM game that will get them the most view$ anyway! That's what is making the majority of players unhappy. I mean, we can look at the state of the world and understand how catering to the top 1% leads to... let them eat cake.
Don't ruin the bread, guys.

yes they are.

always been
SSF player✔️
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?
actually streamers are the canary in the coal mine. they are a warning beacon. the game as designed is the problem.
It's not the streamers fault, that the game in it's current stage is garbage, it's GGG's.

No loot - not a streamer's fault
No damage - not a streamer's fault
No existing crafting - not a streamer's...
Server crashes - not a streamer's...
.....
.....
.....
And these are just a few points, which are making people unhappy.

GGG did a bad job, and The Vision is nothing but a bad idea.

Streamers play the game as a day job and/or RMT currency to buy whatever they need to make the absolute most OP build.

Streamer being watched by lots of people, if they ever rmt anything, there's atleast 1 person that would spot that streamer got many divines overnight, or some crazy gear piece, and then it would spread quickly.

Average joe is one that rmt, not streamers. Average joe has little knowledge, he see good build, he has 0 idea about value of items, he has 0 knowledge on how to make currency, he want that build, he buy currency.

There's 0 reason for anyone experienced and especially streamer to rmt, too much risk too little reward.

Not to say you just skipping gameplay and paying your own money for it, its really dumb to rmt, regardless who you are.

Yeah, you cracked the code mate, you're the only smart guy in this world. The game is perfect and enjoyable in every possible way and everyone else but you are just brainless husks who cannot form a single opinion or impression of their own.
It's also the proclivity for people to speak on behalf of a hypothetical group:

"Everyone is doing x"

"No one is having fun"

"Most players aren't enjoying x"

"The majority of this group feels bad about x"

Streamers do this like political candidates do it in order to drive engagement and controversy.

Concern yourself with how you feel, not how someone has told you how to feel.

I love playing PoE2 and every time I open up a public forum about it it's some kid complaining about player power and holding up some hypothetical group opinion as if to validates the fact that they feel bad.

The dopamine drip skinner box in poe2 isn't as accessible as the one in poe1 for a lot of reasons.

If you're here to complain - don't. Negativity amplifies and fuels more negativity, so if you're going to post, bring a solution, not what you think "the problem" is.

We need to bring back the days where the default response was "get good" - not to default to whining and then making a video for attention and then using that attention and all the other whiners videos to try and convince developers to make game changes.

This.

Especially funny to call streamers "RMTers" when a huge part of them play SSF.

I do think they do drive one problem and that is they have a need to make the game simpler and dumber. Streaming is multitasking and the easier they can make the game for themselves they can continue streaming for longer with less mental fatigue. So when the game takes away builds that only require .1 braincell to use, they throw a fit. Well too bad.
Impatience is insatiable.
People who watch them and cater their own gameplay expectations to them is the problem.

Unless you have an unhealthy amount of hours to devote to this game (like streamers do) you should take what they say with a micrometer of salt.
Mash the clean
