Goodbye Jonathan

Its an EA, the patch was so bad but they are fixing it.

Still have a lot of content to reveal and sure will be an amazing game when finished and GGG will continue improving the game for years like PoE 1.

If you still "im not play forever" you lose more than win...


I stopped play this patch and get angry for all the problems with loot but when they fixed im going to play again. Because there arent a game like PoE 2

lets agree to disagree because. .

1: i dont think EA is any excuse its only their way to sell EA keys and make milions from people who probably will never play again. . but in reality the game is in development for how long? 6-8 years? 6 years working on a campain that is pure pain and is just about 1000 times worse than the poe 1 campain idk..

2: its not a patch its a direction, its the core and fundamental intentional decisions . . its not just bad balance or bad patch.. its clearly the direction and they have not actually fixed anything at all ! all they did was to softness the ass feelings rather than fix it or change it. .

1: maps are so big and awful .. np lets add check point so we tell you we fixed it but it will still be just as awful

2: "meaningful combat" "combo based combat on white mobs" is not fun and stress ful... Np lets increae exposure duration for you.. and freeze build up on ice nova. so we say we did something but its stillg onna feel just as awful

3: theres no loot and no gear progression killing monsters dont give anything? np lets give campain bosses 1% more drop so we tell you we did something but in reality agian its still gonna feel just as awful


so on so on.. the endgame pure bs the concept of that boring atlass tree and the league atlass everything is just. . awful. . other than graphic i have 0 possitive words to say about poe 2.. and its never gonna change becuse this is clearly what they want

The game will be better and if are patience you will see. I have no doubt.

The campaign is so good, what are you talking? You feel like this because have to repeat the same 3 acts all time and act 3 have too big maps, but they do it smaller in last patch. The acts 4,5 and 6 will be so good too. You can see it on ExileCon videos, there an act on a prison with a Boat that is so nice. All the bosses you have, the designs, the art, the animations.. man is so good. The only need to balance the Skills and the action speed, but they'll do it. Just be patience this is only a little piece of the cake.

The Loot is a problem but they anounce are working on it and will be fixed soon. And still have a lot of time to polish until the 1.0 The same with the Endgame.

Not neccesary has to be like poe 1, we still have PoE 1. The want an more playable experiencie during the campaign and is nice, you will be able to delete the maps on Endgame be sure.

You are talking about balance, not design. When they introduce more crafting and improve the loot (are working on it) you doesnt feel in a casino...

while i understand why you say and think what you are saying i still disagree tho not fully and ill explain.

i have no doubt that the game WILL IMPROVE its still GGG we are talking about and i have nothing but admiration for them as devs.

however improving from where poe 2 is right now is not gonna be enough.. the game is so bad to a point where any change basiclly gonna improve it. but the direction and the vision of Jonathan is clear becuase he made it clear.

about the campain.. its actually not about having to do cruel infact ill say i fear how awful it will be when we have act 4/5/6 becuase its easier and faster to do cruel

the campain was indeed so good and fun the first time ive done it. . but the problem is that its just far toooooo long.. its a seasonal game and i dont want to do 20-40 hours campain every league. . 6-10 hours is honestly the total maxium that campain should take . and act 3 campain didnt get shorter they temporarly removed eras which they will add back once we have act 4.

and all acts are just too long. i dont care how pretty the campain is or what they do the problem is that the campain is too long and jonathan made it clear that he is not going to make it shorter. . personally for me even if poe 2 will become perfect (whichit wont) as long as campain is 30 hours i wont bother with it.

loot is a problem but so is crafting and so is gearing and progression and loot is far from what they promised . . they said how loot will be entirely different than poe 1 how we gonna find alot of good items. . well.. ya.

i wish i was as optimistic as you are man but poe 2 is a let down and every "fix" doubled down on that let down for me unless 0.3 turn everything upside down and change direction entirely start import systems from poe 1 and go more into ARPG direction im probably done with poe 2 for good

campain is simply not good.. i find that campain disgusting becuse its simply too long. . its a seasonal game that you are expected to do the campain every 3 months and if you are like me who like to play 2-3 builds every league than im basically expected to do it 3 times every 3 months or not play the way i want to play .. unless the campain length goes down to 6 hours or up to 10 max if you take it slow theres nothing they can do to make this campain better

Haven't played PoE 2 - since early/mid February. It just seemed too much liek work and not enough like a game. I'll probably play the next patch of PoE 1. Campain that is 20-30 hours cant be fun for me because i have to do it 1-3 times every league.

Tje beauty of poe is the option to chose the content you like and focus on that.

Campain never gonna have good loot comparing withendgame at the end of yhe day in a seasonal game all you want from campain is to be over get to endgame chose your content juice it play your build farm loot (if there is any loot) and minmax your build into a god feelings..
