+1 we are basically stuck playing the game he wants not what everyone else wants

Yeah and that's a good thing. Devs really shouldn't abandon their vision because mainstream players are unhappy like they did in PoE 1.

Fascinating how the split is such a stark contrast between those with little to no financial support in the way of supporter packs siding with PoE 2 and those who have donated hundreds if not thousands of dollars being disappointed by PoE 2

Even more interesting is the way the PoE 2 supporters talk down to the financial backbone of the company.

I have noticed 90% of the pro Poe2 posters dont even support the game lol
Personally, I don't mind running the campaign over and over. The biggest gripe for me is GGGs restrictive stance on build adjustments during the campaign. The lack of support gems makes it impossible to experiment with different skills. I haven't had a single support gem drop during the 3 interludes. This defines the whole campaign experience for me.

:) Have a nice day
Since Chris quit POE2 does not have a game director and you can see this:

Jonathan knows astonishing little about game design and systems design.

Everything in a game should be balanced around TTK. Time to Kill.

TTK influences:

✔ Combat feel ( zoomers vs boomers )
✔ Power scaling ( item power )
✔ Skill formulas ( dmg , mana cost, cd's etc)
✔ Drop rates and loot cycles if combat is slow→ drops must be more frequent.
✔ Class fantasy ( Bears being stopped by a little rat , Warriors being spellcasters with shieldwall LOL )
✔ World pacing ( fights, regen , shop/vendor/ fight cycles )
✔ Difficulty

EVERYTHING i Listed is haunting POE2 and it would be the best for the company to demote Jonathan Rogers and put people in charge who are actually capable of laying a foundation for POE 2 not inspired by 2000s era but a system more in tone with 2025.
