Ive read every comment here and if I were GGG I wouldn't say anything either after coming back to this thread of word vomit lol. There are a few good posts, but the majority of us have cried like entitled kids getting our allowance taken away. I fit that bill too... Ive posted a few tempered posts. I expect more from GGG, but then I have to remind myself that they are human and have families and this is just a job to them. Holidays and real life circumstances have made the long silence hard to take, but it is what it is lol Im still averaging 3-5d a day. I would LOVE to see more perfect orbs since ive only seen one and less stuns and alittle more build variety, but I am still playing so they are still winning lol

Well they should maybe open there mouths or type on their keyboards and say something because I'm not playing this shit til they say "We buffed loot" no chance I log in otherwise.

probably true lol I just personally feel loot is ok, there still some really rare items that shouldn't be, Perfect orbs fracture and annul orbs to name a few. and skill gems and runes drop to much diluting the loot pool, but for me the BIGGEST problem is 80% of all builds are running LS. They NEED to buff a few other builds WITHOUT touching LS.

The problem is all of these things are connected.

People can't get good loot with any build so they switch to LS because it's fast, which improves the quantity of drops per hour obviously

This makes the economy crash because everyone is gearing the same items and crafting the same items for profit. Which makes the stuff people aren't crafting as often for builds not being played exceedingly costly and rare even in the trade site. So it makes other builds cost unsustainable.

LS does need a nerf but I think it's too late to do that. If they did it before Easter then fine but now people have HUNDREDS of hours into those builds. Nerfing them and replacing them with no suitable alternative builds those people will not play.

They need to temporarily boost loot drops to satisfy people until they can work out a more surgical approach to implement in the next league.

I remember how apologetic Jonathan was, when the launch date was missed.

At that time, I thought, "wow, a developer who really cares about their player-base". So, I took the bait and started cheating on D4 with POE.

Fast-forward 6 months...crickets.

And like all shiny new relationships, the newness has worn off.

I am perplexed that there has been not a single peep on "X" or the forums.

Is the player-base officially being ignored?

Not really ignored. They're doing a lot of moderation of the player base on here, reddit, and X.

Sure feels like "ignoring". I would feel better about it, if there was not the regular statements of "we want to be transparent", in addition to announcing a newer patch, that is not new anymore and has not even been released.

I understand holidays and peeps should get their time off, but don't implicate to the player-base that a patch is incoming, when it was obviously not ready.

On the other topic, yes, I am heavily considering playing season 8 of D4.

As a working father/husband, I need to find a balance by choosing what I spend my spare time on. I want to keep grinding POE2--if it felt like a true beta test, but might take a break and play D4.

That said.....D4 will only last a weekend or two, before the endgame is pointless as usual. :| :)
