Is the campaign still going to take multiple weeks for the casual gamer dad types?

" Wow, 100%. I'm glad other players are thinking this way. My friend had watched a video where a streamer was complaining about the game's drop rates and that the game is too slow. So I was telling my friend all of the above. Hopefully GGG realizes there's a group of players who love the game in the direction it was headed. Unfortunately, very few, if any, streamers would be willing to risk their viewership by fully committing this less voiced opinion. I think streamers who are complaining about the game are going into the game wanting to farm hundreds of divines worth of loot. But I think there are probably different goalposts available, such as trying to beat the game from scratch using skill X (or for more challenge, on a fresh SSF character). I also think PoE2 suffers from the Action RPG label. It might still be an Action RPG, but not the same kind of Action RPG that Path of Exile is. It might be an Action RPG mixed with another genre or doing something new. If games didn't challenge the base genre that they existed in, we wouldn't get new games. That's why we have rogue-lites and not rogue-likes. |

17 April most players quit the game, think that as when you accepted that you messed up the drop rates for this patch.
Then on 21st some of the remaining players gave up after a week of silence. This week another 20% quit because of the silence? |

Some really negative comments and some really personal ones against developers trying to produce a game for people to play and enjoy.
They have been very forthcoming giving interviews taking feedback and quite reactionary in changes that have been made. Some of the entitlement in these post by the community makes me wonder why they bother. Yes the game definitely has loot issues at the moment I'm sure they will fix it but give them a break it's an early access game and they have obviously been quiet and working on the next patch for the last couple of weeks. I'm still enjoying the game understand the loot issue and a few other genuine concerns but calm down everyone and cut them some slack. Last edited by Keva67#4024 on Apr 28, 2025, 11:53:35 AM

They lied to us by stopping the development of PoE1. They enforce their vision despite all feedback and went from an ok 0.1 release to this horrible mess. People payed and will continue to pay for PoE if they deliver like they did last years. Call it entitled, in my opinion they aren't entitled but loyal players who play PoE1 for years. You definitely don't want to lose this loyal playerbase. In the meantime GGG is doing everything to break down what they built up. People call out this management as it's full of bad decisions. In a normal company that wouldn't last this long.

If you're going to tie loot to wisps, at least make them move on their own without us following. Having to wait for them to possess mobs is a huge death risk, and generally not fun.

How long is Easter in New Zealand?
|

" Well it's like 4:30am in NZ right now. So maybe expect something in the 8-12 hour mark as far as a response. Tbh I am surprised we didn't get something on Monday (for them) given they said the patch would be out first half of this week. They basically will have 24 hours if they announce it today to make good on that claim. And I feel like doing these changes very quickly will lead to a lot of game breaking bugs and issues. Fingers crossed that's not the case. |
