Loot need to change now, peoples are quitting

so everybody saying good stuff about the game is still mid campaign. makes sense because the campaign is what they spent all their time on

Its still in Beta though = probably for another 6 months at least. The game is fine as it is - its hard around level 30-40 and after you get some items and a couple ascendency's its a lot better after that. Cruel level is much easier as u advanced in your build.

I like the challenge personally, I dont have to WIN all the time to love a game. Ive died 108 times so far on my Lich and most were in act 2-3 before level 40. Im currently level 50 and cruising through Act 1 cruel atm...

LONG WAY TO GO people - dont give up yet....

You're in camping... Have some common sense and start t15 maps at least before you speak up.
"We've just spent six years making expansions for path of exile, so imagine if we released path of exile 2 and it was just a bare campaign with none of that extra content. This would be a sad shell of an action RPG compared to the current state of path of exile."

I only have two hours to play my favorite game poe2, but lately it hasn't been fun at all.

just think, if you do that every day of the week you will get a divine orb! one whole divine orb!

then you can trade it for a pair of boots with 35% run speed and no other good modifiers and do the same thing next week for another one divine !!

With the MS upgrade you will probably get 5 div per month instead of 4 though

Lmao

Not even after cruel 1, you can trade after cruel 1 which open many doors but it didn't change the fact that at one point if you want to progress you need better gears, better gears cost more currencies but the drop rate is shit, so you can't craft item to progress because it is too hard and requires currencies, you cant also trade because... where is your currencies ?

See the point ?

Endgame this gets worse because you have to use your currency to get more mods on waystones to get currency but the waystones may cost 2-4 exalt to fully juice and rarely yield more than what it costs to craft them. So just crafting waystones is unsustainable let alone crafting better gear for yourself or to sell so you can actually afford something. You could take all of Doriyanis tier 14 stones and reforge them for 3 15s and on 2 maps get 0 exalts or waystones (because chance isn't high without many mods) and die on the third map and have no ability to progress. You would have to either purchase from trade site or try to farm a waystone in cruel a3.

It's actually insane how bad it is. The real problem isn't the mistakes and bugs, it's that they specifically tried to fix endgame progression and they made it worse by every vector and metric you could come up with.

I killed 15 rares at 150 rarity rate, and you know how many exalts I have ? big fat 0 ? Like yo wtf ? Are you kidding me ? GGG WHYYYYY
It's quite sad that they've been trying to improve the game with so many other aspects while ignoring the most important aspect of the game - which is LOOT!!! Its now 0.2f? That's like 6 patches since in the last 2 weeks, and nothing about improving the drop rates. the only thing being the runes, which is just a bandaid.

I'm new to PoE in general, but did start in Dec, and coming from D3/D4. Really enjoyed the base PoE2 gameplay - but the loot, or lack of loot, is just bad... can't craft anything, cos i need to save exalts just to buy stuff... and being forced to trade is another issue in itself. For all the hate against D4 - at least they have structure and clear item progression.
Yea Ive taken 4 characters to Maps so far. Its not that hard - people crying about a game they cant beat is a skill issue. Im totally casual and play 2-3 hours a day if I can..
In game since Minotaur League..
the fact that you have taken 4 characters to maps already suggests that maps are not very engaging

I didn't play D4 but I've diverted my Mtx budget for PoE to purchasing D4 and playing that until the next league. I know people get down on it but at this point I just want to actually get to fight bosses with a strong character and drop some sick looking loot. Who cares about all the complexity PoE provides if there's no payoff for having taken the time to learn about them and master them?
