The gloves offer zero defense. Nada.

Plus, they look atrocious

Please tell me how these don't contradict everything GGG has been championing for its uniques. It isn't only a best in slot item for a huge variety of builds but you don't even have to make any effort to build around it at all. It's a D3 style unique where it's just extremely powerful and trumps all rares.

Of course you'd rather have this broken item since you claim how fun it is to absolutely destroy enemies with it. That is where it becomes very much like D3 where most slots were dominated by specific uniques; hence killing item diversity.

Item diversity among rares? Hilarious!

they are basically a 5l with 5-186 LD

edit
just to be clear im not bitching that GGG should change them... I want MOAR of these kinds of uniques... tho it is kinda fucked up that ALL other ele damage plus IAS rare gloves just got obliterated.

Only OP if you kill the enemy slowly so that you can make the shock stacks count. Given that a 5-L armor is better than that for your main attack, you can't really utilize it properly for your main attack.

The 1-100 lightning damage and 10% attack speed are alone not enough to make it a great glove.

What people need to understand is, that defensive stats on gloves mean that you can get more offense from skill tree.

Sadly its simply a different and more subtle way of pay to win. Pay 1000 bucks, make overpowered item for your build, gg.

I really don't think elemental weapon based build need any more items. They are the strongest and easiest to build AS IS, and now we introduce more of them, specifically wake of destruction 2.0.

Why would you make items like Abyssu that suppose to help the already non-viable physical melee but add a massive 50% more physical damage taken as draw back, then you release something like this with more power for elemental on hit builds that everybody and their grandmother runs with literally 0 drawbacks?

Aside the stats, the artwork looks kinda cool. Love the design!

this is one of the uniques GGG made themselves, not a diamond supporter, try again.

It does have a strong drawback: if you run it on ele builds, which supports are you going to sacrifice? Mana leech, life leech/life on hit, fast attacks or Weapon Elemental Damage?

If you sacrifice either mana leech or life leech/life on hit, you won't be able to do the favorable 0% life/mana regen mod on maps.

It's OP and has no downside.

And why it should be downside? Still can't forget the first Diablo?

This gloves are still crap compare to Buriza, 32-196 cold damage, 100% pierce chance, 80% IAS, 200% Enhanced damage... That what I call unique items
