Its one mod that makes already a slow as F game a swamp. Especially since its almost on every map esp if you corrupt them and you have to do it to do T16..... so... its like permanent debuff. |

TC mod feelis like trying to fight in your dream. This mod is horrible because you are slow in movement and action, but the rest of the game is not. It just feels bad.

The real issue is that its almost on every map once you start doing max mod maps that you chaos to get T16.
If it would be like once in a blue moon thats fine. But that bloody thing is almost on every map and its amplified by the modifiers to crazy levels when you are already slow. I tried it once on boots w/o speed at it felt like i was not moving at all almost (i had shield to btw) |

oh yea true in my post i didn't even thought of the shield and body armour movement penalties. and btw i am playing crossbow amazon, so i also have access to SOME movement on the tree and it still feels so slow like you are glued to the ground

Surprised no one has mentioned that you get this on white maps now too.
Not sure how I feel about the random mechanics being added to white maps, but it is what it is I guess. Finally got my new league starter to maps last night, ran the first T1 map, no mods, no towers, no atlas tree passives, fresh out of the campaign, and got temporal chains. Trash any map with temp chains and don’t slam maps with rarity with exalts which also means you can’t run epic maps unless you wanna brick them and lose valuable currency. I would love to know whose idea it was to slow a slow game down even further. Shit feature needs to be removed completely.

I don't feel that huge dislike for temporal chains that many people seem to have. I don't think its fun, but I also don't find it heavily detrimental to my enjoyment. Maybe its, because I don't care about speed clearing - either I find the combat gameplay enjoyable or not - the clearing speed is irrelevant to me.
I also played for a long time without movement speed on boots... Burning ground is pretty cool as huntress to create fire whirlwinds. For huntress I find it fun, for other classes not so much. The ones I actually dislike are the modifiers that heavily increase enemy damage spikes resulting in me getting oneshot. My most hated map modifier is monster quantity - the combat versus smaller enemy groups just feels much better and maps with high monster quantity feel overcrowded, encouraging mindless AoE clearing. Especially the small-radius aoe skills (like the huntress melee frost skill that can be used after parrying) feel much worse versus large groups versus small groups. |

When I see temporal chains I see 1 more regal shard in my inventory.

I tried running TC map once. That was the last time too, I didn't even bother to finish it.
You have perma chains on your character as a base feature of the game. Having it as another slow multiplier on a map is just sadistic. " Absurd comparison. Spamming flasks and having slow curse are two different things, and both are bad. Frustration is not created within oneself, what are you even talking about? Nobody enjoys being slowed in already slow game. I guess a lot of people, including me, took your advice and quit. Good Luck and Have Fun playing dead game. |
