LMAO PoE2 is literally the game that make me consider LE, D4, D3 because it broke one thing that made it different from the rest, player agency in creating unique characters. It dumbed down everything that was good about PoE1 so much that Last Epoch gives you more meaningful choices and has better build diversity.

I think Fubgun is just an indicator of how much player skill & knowledge rewards your time & effort investment.

If a lot of high profile people jump ship that means that there's not really enough holding them in place.

How some of this impacts me is that I mostly, but not always, play homebrew builds that get to maps hopes to get to base [difficulty 0-1] endgame and then likely stop there.

If currency generation, gearing for non-meta builds, etc. tops out at a point that makes it difficult for me to get to at least the beginning of endgame then I'm not sure how much point I see in leveling up myself.

Steam count dropped to 130k. It's 75% drop from 0.1 release.

And before someone will say "it's small update".

But you said The Vision (tm) is super enjoyable and provides better gameplay? Then why people leave the game in The Vision (tm) patch? They should be happy that The Vision (tm) is imposed.

But it seems 0.1 was enjoyed better. People played for 2 months.

It is Expedition patch once again.

You never played D2 and it shows.

Because Enigma existed and NEVER WAS NERFED. NEVER.

Also D2 allowed you to facetank most bosses in endgame gear. Also D2 allowed you to farm Hell in Day 1 if you know what you're doing.

Also Mephisto "bug", allowing for easy kill with Sorc. Never was nerfed.

D2 devs never destroyed fun of the players.

"loot fest rpg" LMAO. D2 was literally Pindleskins infinite runs, Baal runs, Mephisto runs for loot. D2 was loot fest RPG with deep mechanics.

And it was fast. You felt character power. Teleport was free for Sorc, Amazon had fast walking speed, Enigma existed. It wasn't a slog.

You can trade in game all you want, it will still take you weeks to acquire one.

Now everybody wants to do the endgame content and play the meta builds after only 1 week.

Less content, sure. But I doubt players want LESS CONTENT.

I grinded for Enigma, a week of cows. With trading, of course. The same as Mageblood in poe1, but you can also use Sorc who has Teleport without Enigma.

Also Amazon in D2 has double ms of PoE2 Amazon, which helps to not get bored. PoE2 isn't even hard. It's boring. Too slow. Too much time spent on walking (try to loot Breach after clearing it)...
