The guy who makes a lot of content for poe2, who played a lot of 0.1 quit the 0.2 season in 2 weeks. He says end game is insanely bad and nothing new this season.
I also agree and softcore market is dead too, nothing sells, no build diversity, everyone playing LS build only. No item is exciting, all uniques are trash other than 2-3. This season is so gg, they really should start working on 0.3 and poe1 new league. I also surprised they have done no balance patches in 2 weeks. Like, what they said was saving balance til 0.2 and they did not balance patch 0.1. 0.2 released and they do no balance patches as well, at this point idk what to tell them. Never seen an ARPG with 2-3 builds that are viable. Anyways, looks like this season will lose insane amount of playerbase in a week. Last bumped on Apr 16, 2025, 3:51:23 PM

Good, because i love this game and if it can get rid of all the nerds who never actually enjoyed classic D2, it will be great.

In PoE2, you strategically dodge-roll while killing monsters hoping for gear upgrades, unlike those other games where you just kill monsters hoping for gear upgrades. A revolutionary departure from the "generic loot fest," clearly. The forums are definitely not full of people discussing builds and loot drops. Let's hope PoE2 successfully sheds all those players. We definitely want a smaller, more elite group complaining about drop rates and trade economy. That's peak ARPG experience. |

The poster forgot to mention that nothing sells because we can't compete with so many chinese bots. I try to buy/sell things and never get a reply from the bot that is logged in for many hours. Same thing when something is put in there for cheap, the chinese bots swarm you with messages.
Not to mention how hard is to level beyond 90 with exp death penalties. |

" You are right. D2 had even less content and less loot. How long did it take you to find the runes to make an enigma? I would say you never actually grinded for it. You can trade in game all you want, it will still take you weeks to acquire one. Now everybody wants to do the endgame content and play the meta builds after only 1 week. |

Im having a fun time althou I picked my classes well. Smith is great and tactician is bonkers. Only issue is memory leaks/crashes with ballistas. would be fun if I could play more than 3-4 maps before having to close/re open the game
