" You seem to be missing a key point here, items and skills are NOT tied to classes. You are playing a dex based huntress, but that doesn't mean someone else couldn't play one with giant mauls if they wanted to do so. Should the game read your skill tree and guess what types of items your build wants? Maybe we should just be able to tell the game exactly what items to drop for us... hell, they should just give us the items we need right away. |

In SSF I always keep good items for different characters. If I start another character I pick the one for which I have the best items. Makes leveling much easier. Which is something most player don't understand imo so they complain about bad drops while don't see larger picture.

We could have some way to deterministically to choose drop more bases of our choice. But str character only dropping str bases would be insanally lame, would be end of POE. |

" That's a pretty useless mechanic imo. Like, I get it but it's still a poor mechanic. It's a roleplaying fallacy where you have the freedom to pick a dex class like the Huntress and build her as an int class. What do you actually get of this in the end? I'd argue not much if at all. On the flip side, you get weak class identity and shit drops. It's a shit system from PoE 1 that unfortunately made it to PoE 2. I much prefer when I pick a Huntress to actually role-play the huntress fantasy, not a sorceress that happened to also somehow be a huntress. Such a dumb concept. |
