Any facts regarding how changing the lightning color in D2R drastically increased income? Or we just talking fee fees again?
How is blue lightning making more money than white lightning?
Also, I have stated I’d be happy if white lightning would be an MTX, so yes, it could make money.

Yeah white lightning do look good. I loved it in d2 and in d2r the comunity was vocal to get it back and we got it.I would love an mtx to have white lightning spells in poe2 for sure. +1

You will have your eyes flashbanged and you will say 'Damn that's some realistic lightning" every single time.
I think white lightning could be cool but the closer you go from blue > white the more an attack would look like cold damage imo. It's not like lightning really has a problem since most lightning things are lightning shaped though it's always good to think of the colour of attacks in relation to what element it could be.

It works fine in D2R playing a furyzon, which PoE2 lighting spear is inspired by. Also, in the original D2 graphics lightning is white. It works fine 👍
For context: D2R initially made lightning blue as well, I made a similar post there and they adjusted it to white. Would be quite epic if I’m the reason both games turn their lightning from blue to white 😃

Yeah lol dude think he is the reason lmao. Blizzard forums had hundreds of posts asking to be true to the original white color.
