Game should encourage vendor usage in Campaign
" I mean... I trade: https://i.imgur.com/chtsC18.png As always, it's a you-do-you thing, but I find flipping through vendor inventories to be mind-numbing given the likelihood of finding anything worthwhile; trade lets me handpick items that perfectly fit my kit every time. I won't defend GGG's implementation because I agree it's pretty ridiculous for a modern game, but most people wildly exaggerate the problems with the system. I replaced my kit every ~10 levels from 30 onward; I probably executed at least 40 trades in both directions. In that time I had to deal with maybe a half dozen non-responders (literally no big deal just move on to the next item), nobody tried to scam me or raise prices, and I had two legitimately pleasant conversations with other people playing Tactician. |

One thing that really helped me engage with vendors was watching the race events where the racers would use regex. I have now implemented regex into pretty much every possible facet of gameplay. However, I'm probably the 1% that will ever touch regex. It would be sweet if there was some in-game filter aside from regex, but that menu would probably be insane.

"Wait this game has regex? All these hours wading through the forums was worth it for this knowledge. |

" Hell ya. As much as I kinda despise two screen gaming, get a notepad going with your regex for waystone mods and gear and bobs your uncle youre now pathing in luxury (sort of) |

" GGG gets a lot of hate for not explaining their UX clearly, so I feel compelled in their defense to mention that you could have just moused over the big (i) next to the search box instead. |

" I only ever check weapons, boots for movement speed and belts for charm slots whenever I'm in town or feel like I need an upgrade. It's not every level, maybe every 5. Playing SSF. |

"Yeah that one's on me. |
