You ruined this game.

@hboi - ggg actually made you so powerful you completed the first runthrough after clicking character create. It just happened so fast you missed it.

Seriously though, the game is won in builds. For those of us who learn to make builds, the game is too *easy*.. the only bosses i had to tske myltiple tries at in my furst 0.2 runthrough were act 2 jamars, act 6 viper, and act 6 dorani. Viper was by far the hardest.. and this was SSF

ty for that. I am aware of the issues by the way, not stating everything is fine. Its not. But i expect heavy improvement over the next months. I guess this is what we can agree on?

2 attempts here with melee....on Cruel even frist try, both with SSF gear. ;)

I think we should call for another lockdown, the skill issue on this planet has pandemic proportions. XD
0.2.0 SSF for me was still somewhat easy/moderate difficulty throughout.

However............

It takes 10x as long to get through campaign, and the loot drops are nowhere to be seen! The fun has been completely stripped away AND somehow they managed to make fights even more boring than before. Before in 0.1.0 it was OK and needed improvements but was nowhere near as boring as this patch

I never play genres, you can't play a genre. You play individual titles with their own systems. Genres are just empty abstractions that don't mean anything in practice. This game is supposed to be PoE2.

Dude... don't make this a philosophical thing for 12yo.

Genre is a categorisation.

When I get "Gran Turismo", I expect a racing game with emphasis on simulation because it's part of the racing/simulation genre.

When I get "The Witcher 3", I expect a role-playing game with an open world because it's part of the RPG/open-world genre.

When I get "Path of Exile 2", I expect an Action RPG with Hack and Slash because it's... you get it... part of the genre.

The game is an arpg. Thats like saying Half Life isn't a first person shooter because it didn't follow the doom or quake arena shooter model.

You can expand the genre and make innovations within it. Instead of just making the same D4 clone that the arpg market is already flooded with.
