You ruined this game.
In one big update you ruined this game. This game is supposed to be an ARPG.
It's not Sekiro. It's not First Berserker Khazan. It's not a bullet hell. I should not need insane reflexes to fight a boss. I should not need to be avoiding so much shit on my screen that I can't even tell what is going on. The original launch of POE2 was some of the most fun I've had with an ARPG. I love when people say what a game should and should not need. If devs want something in their game then it absolutely shoud be in it. Period.

" Totally agree, although I think the bosses being janky are a symptom of different problems entirely. Nerfing players into oblivion was not a good idea! I also had loads of fun with 0.1.0 even though endgame was seriously lacking and unbalanced. Campaign was wonderful then. I have no idea how they dived deeper than the Mariana Trench with 0.2.0 release. Just insane, so I'll probs wait till 0.3.0 and try again because I'm passionate about this game/company and want it to succeed so badly |

First impressions mid way through Act 1 is game feels great.
Haven't had any real challenges yet from bosses which is a bit sad compared to 0.1 but I'm expecting that to change. |

" More successful than PoE1 ever was? Based on what? If you talk about financial gain in a short period of time, sure, PoE2 EA release is above PoE1. But if you talk about player retention? Then not. Not atm. PoE1 grew over the years from league to league most of the time. While the overall player count of PoE2 is higher than it was in PoE1 because PoE2 attracted a bigger audience - the drop from 0.1.0 to 0.2.0 is significant. PoE2 on EA release peaked at 578k, but patch 0.2.0 peaked only at 246k. That's over half the ppl on Steam gone. Depending how you define "success" - PoE1 is the goat of both.
