Divine Orbs Are Way Too Rare in 0.2

Disagree ... The current Economy is great Balance. You need to find ways to min Max your endgame and you need ratity in your gear. You also can Farm other stuff then Pure divines...try to min Max a strat and get rich.

This isn't the proper way to go about obtaining Divines. Some players choose to min/max their character for pure DPS/Defense w/o the Rarity stat taking up a more desired stat spot in that piece of gear.

I've only have seen TWO Divines since I got to End Game with my now Level 78 Huntress when she was Level 67. Mapping T1-5 (yes, I'm climbing the Corruption Nexus quests) I also have came across ONE Perfect Jewelers Orb. I have about ~45% total Rarity on my character mainly because of the stat rolled good with other more than desired stats on my gear. The Rarity is a benefit, not a necessity. GGG has the capability to INCREASE the drop rates of Exalted Orbs, Greater Jeweler's Orb, Perfect Jewelers Orb and Divine Orbs which most people are really requiring to either upgrade/progress their gear and/or use for trade. I constantly go to Alva to try to get whatever I can from her, mainly Exalted Orbs which can be ~5 EX's from mats I don't care about because I'm needing a constant flow of EX's to UPGRADE prospected gear.

Divine Orbs is a blessing for myself (and everyone else) when I eventually loot one, I use that to get Exalted Orbs which I mostly utilize to prospect potential upgrade gear.

Sure, you can sacrifice your damage and defenses for pure MF build on your gear, but that's the trade off. Can you do both? Sure, but your gear rolls needs to have 5 good stats and that 1 Rarity to keep up with the DPS you're build requires to clear T15+ maps.

I'm very aware with how Rarity works with ~550 hrs from Standard League with a Level 94 Deadeye to Dawn of the Hunt with a Level 71 Deadeye and my Level 78 Huntress. Rarity increases your CHANCES of obtaining said items, NOT increase the drop rate percentage. There's a difference.

Going from Standard League where everyone is used to the old "drop rates" of mentioned items to Dawn of the Hunt is night and day and you don't need Rarity to see that. The drop rates are LOW since the release of Dawn of the Hunt. I'm in agreeance with players here who are noticing the difference of drops rates for items, especially Divines and Greater/Perfect Jeweler Orbs.
Agree 100% with the drop rate of divine orbs. It’s laughable at best. I lost interest in playing because of it. It should be impossible to run tier 15 maps with quantity and rarity for 8 hours straight and not see a single raw divine orb drop. Anyone who disagrees is either delusional or works/contracts for GGG. Remember that. These forums are operated by the game’s employees. Game developers spend a considerable amount of money on trying to swing customer sentiment simply through gaslighting in the forums. This company is no exception. The development team is trying to increase player retention by making things rare, it they’ve yet to acknowledge that they’ve gone too far to one end of the spectrum. Don’t be gaslit. Trust your gut feeling, and ability to recognize simple patterns.

Hey GGG,

I want to bring up the current state of Divine Orb drop rates in PoE 2 patch 0.2, because honestly, it feels completely out of balance.

I’m currently level 89 and have put in well over 120 hours since this patch dropped. I’ve been grinding T15 maps constantly — to the point I’ve lost count — and so far, I’ve seen exactly one (1) Divine Orb drop.

That’s just absurd.

I understand that PoE 2 is shifting the economy and pacing, but if Divine Orbs are meant to be the main high-end currency, their current rarity doesn’t reflect that. It’s not just “rare,” it’s demoralizing. There’s a difference between something being valuable and it feeling essentially nonexistent — especially when you’re grinding endgame content.

Please reconsider the drop rate or introduce more consistent ways to earn them. Right now, it doesn’t feel rewarding or fair for players who are putting in serious time and pushing high-tier content.

Thanks for reading — I hope this gets some attention.
