Why so much hatred?

We don't just "Want to go fast" we want the game to not be a fucking tedious slog. We want the game to not fuck the player at every opportunity. IF there is some disparity, it will in all cases disfavor the player. We are not playing the same game as the enemies, we're not subject to the same rules. We don't want the game to be "Easy" but there are IMMENSE flaws with the design, where the game itself destroys itself. Combo gameplay means your damage takes a ton of time to setup, and given you can't move while doing damage, you have to just basically hope you don't get stunned or pushed into a corner you can't get out of, or just swarmed in several other ways where you just get beat down because enemies are 8x faster than you'll ever be. If they want a SLOW game, then EVERYTHING needs to be slow. It's just so tedious. No, poe2 is not great the way it is, I don't think you would know greatness if you saw it.

^^ THIS x 1000.

The game is a slow slog with no rewards. The “fixes” of the last week show that’s exactly what the developers intend. The result will be a small dedicated player base while the rest of us go play other games.
Theres no loot
Maybe instead of nerfing the builds that work and buffing useless ones that nobody will use regardless, they should focus on actually creating new content for the game.

Instead, after 12 years all we got was slower paced combat and a dodge-roll mechanic.

I mean, they even carried over many lasting issues from POE 1 without even thinking. For example: Stop adding more and more worthless uniques to the game. I mean some of this stuff might as well say: "+5 to str but deletes account on equip". We had the same garbage in POE 1 which no one will ever use and is just meant to waste your time looking at it before being vendored.
Nah just had someone post a thread admiting it was a skill issue. And they leave a negative review anyways.

Its what I already know about the hatred.

I like them - I get a Chance Shard from every one.

But I don’t know what I’d do if a useful unique dropped.

Buy a lotto ticket.
The beautiful thing about POE2 is that POE1 is still intact.
I hope for a great future for both games.

One that is fast and snappy and insane.
Another that is slower, more punishing, with more tension.

POE1 still getting updated is what I wish these other game companies would do when they release a new game that has a mixed reception with legacy fans.
Instead they drop all support for the previous game and it vanishes into obscurity.

There are numerous cases. I wish some people would relax for a moment and realize how awesome it is that POE1 will continue to get some attention.
Even this previous Precia event would be massive for an old game that I loved back in the day. Sadly most devs don't see the value in putting in work for older beloved titles.

chances of getting a beta key 0.000001 %

I want everything now. Instant gratification. Zoomer brain rot has destroyed my brain so I have to have a game playing, a youtube video on my second monitor, and a 3rd monitor of constant changing videos of people making things with rapid edits in order to keep my attention.

I don't want to work for anything. I want all endgame rewards and accomplishments handed to me without any sort of though or effort on my part. If I die it's the devs fault and bad game design. I demand changes be made so I do not die. I want a power fantasy. I want to destroy all mobs in a matter of seconds and movement skills to zoom all over the map doing trillions of damage per second.

I want all death punishments removed so I can speed run all content in 3 days and then complain there is not enough content in the game on the forums on day 4.

I'm so addicted to dopamine from instant gratification in my games I want loot to fall from the sky for 5 minutes straight like I just hit it big in vegas. I want to BLAST. ZOOM ZOOM.

I deserve to be level 100 and hit that in 4 days while I follow a build guide of a broken build I found on youtube. I AM A GOD AND IF YOU STAND IN MY WAY I WILL DESTROY YOUR COMPANY.

Finally someone understands what an ARPG is supposed to be. That game sounds dope. It would be much better than this crap they keep putting out.
