Why so much hatred?

Its nice you like it. Thats great. 90% of us don't and you can see that from all the negative feedback everywhere you look. You can't make a game for the few or you will go broke.

Bro he literally said "even though I didn't love it, I dearly miss it"
Did he say he liked it? I don't think so!
Just tried doing the campaign as amazon with just the recommended supports. I had 37-68 phys damage war spear (106% increased phys damage, 19% quality, socketed lesser iron rune - incredibly good for that level) and it took me FIVE ATTEMPTS to kill the mastadon badlands boss, which i consider among the easiest bosses in the entire game - i just ran out of flasks. I'm no noob in PoE2, been playing 0.1 for 2 months on HCSSF, in addition to 10 years in PoE1.

Then i put stomping ground on rake and killed them within like 20 seconds.

IDK how this is ok.
feels like theyre putting in easymodes and theyre expecting us to find them lol

Yeah if you play easy mode the patch is good. But having like 5 viable builds is not what i expect from PoE. Like they added a whole new ascendancy but managed to halve build diversity. Hillarious.

LOL truer than the truth bro. so true it hurts
Nerfs happened.

People cant accept they were playing something broken. And so to cope with it they act out.

None of them played warrior in .1 and its so telling.

And the difference between .1 and .2 is the exact same for warrior. And now warrior is "magically fine"

Its just people malding
Mash the clean

Dude i played warrior with a 1h mace, i played blood mage, even AoC. All of that pales before masochism that is 0.2. And mind you none of the three i mentioned got any better.
I want everything now. Instant gratification. Zoomer brain rot has destroyed my brain so I have to have a game playing, a youtube video on my second monitor, and a 3rd monitor of constant changing videos of people making things with rapid edits in order to keep my attention.

I don't want to work for anything. I want all endgame rewards and accomplishments handed to me without any sort of though or effort on my part. If I die it's the devs fault and bad game design. I demand changes be made so I do not die. I want a power fantasy. I want to destroy all mobs in a matter of seconds and movement skills to zoom all over the map doing trillions of damage per second.

I want all death punishments removed so I can speed run all content in 3 days and then complain there is not enough content in the game on the forums on day 4.

I'm so addicted to dopamine from instant gratification in my games I want loot to fall from the sky for 5 minutes straight like I just hit it big in vegas. I want to BLAST. ZOOM ZOOM.

I deserve to be level 100 and hit that in 4 days while I follow a build guide of a broken build I found on youtube. I AM A GOD AND IF YOU STAND IN MY WAY I WILL DESTROY YOUR COMPANY.
Don't use positivity to be toxic towards criticism of the game, even if you have a differing opinion of the games state early access is for feedback and about how people feel about the games systems but currently people are either white knighting the game which posts like this read as saying it can't be bad so people have responded in kind resulting in the current state of forums and posts like this only perpetuate this.

I just want to start this with I have played this game since poe was early on in its history, I remember when the vaal expansion first came out, exploring the new vaal side areas was interesting and exciting, every new league that was added kept bringing with it a new layer of complexity and intrigue that challenged the games normal design itself while somehow managing to stay in tune with its own lore and style, never losing its feeling as a dark fantasy ARPG, unlike so many other games (note: diablo 3 and its version of the cow level).

When legion first came out I remember loving it immediately, running back and forth farming zones while leveling just to get a chance to get that tall black obelisk to spawn so you could farm more of the league mechanic, it was so interesting, something new I had never encountered before.

As time went on, more and more leagues came out, each one with its own advantages and disadvantages, some I liked more than others, some I agreed needed to be implemented into the game, some I wished had been, like crucible. I always wished there was more lore involved in the making of these leagues, and more time to fully explore the mechanics, 3 months always felt a little short, but then again, everyone was always about going zoom zoom and blasting through everything and just focusing on currency generation instead of slowing down and enjoying the content.

The last couple of leagues have felt subpar, trading has become something of a nightmare, acquiring items has just been insanely annoying, people offer items up then change the price last minute, or never respond, or fix the prices on the trade site so you have to spam endlessly to find that one person who will actually sell for a decent price.. we desperately need a different method of trading.

This last league I didn't bother to play, I have heard good things about it, but honestly after the last one and with poe2 having come out, I just couldn't motivate myself to level what is probably my 400th character through the campaign yet again. I needed something new, something slower, something hard, challenging, something that made me think, and now we have poe2.

Contrary to reddit, and the internet in general at this point I think, I love how poe2 has turned out, it feels like a sequel lorewise to poe, however, it is much slower, and much much more challenging, you have to actually think when you play the game, you cant just dps the boss down in 5 seconds, the game isnt designed for that, and I prefer it that way.

This league with the huntress, I only have that character so far, level 65 now, took me 5 days to get through the campaign, I had to get help for some of the bosses, yeah the damage could get tuned a bit on single target, but overall the class is an absolute blast to play, so much mobility, disengage, roll, parry, I thought for sure spears were going to be a 2h weapon, I was so excited when it was a 1h and a shield build, its like playing a demon hunter from wow but with a shield, its hilariously fun and absolutely love it, by far my favorite class released in the entirety of poe. 10/10

I get that people want to go fast, but I think poe should retain its development for that, I loved poe's crafting, I want better crafting in poe2, I really want a crafting bench in poe2, I love crafting, REAL CRAFTING DEVS - NOT THIS LETS PUT AN ORB AND HAVE MYSTERIOUS OUTCOMES... also being able to see what tier affixes I have on gear in game would be immensely helpful if you could please implement that soon.

All I'm saying is if you want speed, poe1, poe needs to be poe and should still be regularly developed, 9 months for a league is a bit extreme, even with poe2 out.

poe2 is great just the way it is, keep doing what you guys are doing with it, I and I know of many others who absolutely love the game the way it is, we are just less vocal.

We don't just "Want to go fast" we want the game to not be a fucking tedious slog. We want the game to not fuck the player at every opportunity. IF there is some disparity, it will in all cases disfavor the player. We are not playing the same game as the enemies, we're not subject to the same rules. We don't want the game to be "Easy" but there are IMMENSE flaws with the design, where the game itself destroys itself. Combo gameplay means your damage takes a ton of time to setup, and given you can't move while doing damage, you have to just basically hope you don't get stunned or pushed into a corner you can't get out of, or just swarmed in several other ways where you just get beat down because enemies are 8x faster than you'll ever be. If they want a SLOW game, then EVERYTHING needs to be slow. It's just so tedious. No, poe2 is not great the way it is, I don't think you would know greatness if you saw it.
