The Souls-like Dilemma.

brilliant takes, another +1 for the movement speed thoughts.
Movement speed gets brought up a lot and Ive yet to hear anything satisfactory against the ms being fixed or basically not being a modifier.

Ms is fundamentally core to the boots, it dont have it, dead item as people have said.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

Only point that i disagree with is adding animation for flask use. That would be one more thing to make the game feel tedious and clunky.


There could be a risk of that for sure, but if done correctly, it could add some weight behind spacing and tempo of combat. If the combat was slow enough for it.

In the current pacing of the game, something like that would not work, not at all.
I think its fairly unreasonable to call the combat "Souls-like" just because it has dodge roll implemented.

I also think it works VERY well. Exceptionally well to be honest.
The combat feels incredible in this game, the problems it has definitely lie elsewhere.

For movement speed they also need to just delete the hidden MS penalty on armor. Or at least un-hide it.
