THE VISION is Blind - All errors 0.2 (with funny memes)
i wanna add some more "two cents":
about performance (only talking pc): i think those folks that "suffer" from "unoptimization" are, except a few folks that actually have old machines, mostly those ppl that "need 4k". yet i have to see a single dude that "needs" 4k because they can see individual pixels with their bare eyes on 1080p. you don't, so either stop using over-the-top unneccessary high resolution, or learn to live with, so "i must have most shiny gfx that i won't notice the difference after 20 hours anyway" --> lower fps. a side-note to that: post-processing effects do soak up a lot of calculation time. wether you have to render each frame once, or each frame twice, does make a big difference no matter your hardware. again i'm old, i don't need shiny gfx. i disable all post-process effects in my driver. including anti alias which wouldn't even be post process if set to MSAA instead of SSAA. but stuff like Tessellation and such crap -> never ever. edit: using an AMD RX 6700 XT which by no means is new hardware. yet the game runs at 90-145fps at any time. 90fps is when the screen is full of gfx. honestly that's much better than most other new games run on my machine with my preferred settings. you're on a computer. you can adjust settings, unlike on a console. so do that. like not doing so is just..whenever i have a new game, first thing i do is setting up settings for performance. try that in the future :) pls -add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff -fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike -rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill thx <3 Last edited by Naztrey#9177 on Apr 8, 2025, 2:24:17 PM

" I don't mind the map sizes, though I do agree there needs to be ample checkpoints to get around the backtracking issue since killing all rares is the goal for most maps. I find it kind of funny people complain so much about map size, but they'll map for 6 hours. Whats the difference between 2 mid size maps and 1 large map? You complete 2 maps in the time it takes you to complete one. But what does that mean? It means you get to progress to the next section of the map faster. Why does that matter? Because you can get to citadels and maps with better base modifications. So lets do a thought experiment. If GGG made all the good stuff twice as close, if they essentially made the map half as large(I know it's infinite), half the distance to the big stuff, what would players do? 99.999% chance they'd still complain almost exactly as they are that maps are too large. The majority of the complaints about this game are from people who have very little understanding of what they're talking about. They can't see things in the big picture. They can't see the vision of the game, they can't see why things go together, ect. They complain of "slow" as if "fast" is inherently good. These are simple minded people who just flat out don't know what they're talking about. You can't have methodical gameplay unless its slower than it was(1 button to kill anything), that's a design choice, that's a fundamental decision for the direction of the game. But they talk as though it's an objective fact that the game is bad because it was slowed down. There needs to be more viable build diversity, but there will be in the future as more stuff gets added and changed. But as of right now, there are several builds that take things down in 1 hit, whites, some blues and bosses go down relatively quick. People complaining want to be handed a silver platter like in 0.1.0 where they can make a mediocre build and still 1 hit whites and blues. Where's the incentive? If walking speed is the same, so you get to the next mob pack the same no matter what, where is the incentive and consequently the reward for making a decent build? There isn't, in 0.1.0 there was only an incentive to clear breaches faster(with more AOE) and bosses(faster than what... 10-15 seconds on average for a mediocre build?). |

" Look everybody, it's the guy in the thread who wants to argue for the sake of arguing! The OP gets the general point across quite clearly. If you don't comprehend it then that's on you. You pretty much destroyed your whole response when you admitted the OP is 'regurgitating' [call it what you want] common complaints! Gee... I wonder why almost everybody 'commonly' doesn't like the current direction the game is going?! *Jeopardy theme song plays* When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect. " Minions were nerfed to the ground. Monsters life were buffed to double or more. Then they recognised their mistake. How could be that the players fault? Your facts are far from true. |

" yes you are right. i agree. nonetheless he was doing a "general statement" and you're nitpicking a specific example. in general, he prolly is not all that wrong --> doesn't mean you are wrong either. Great points, great memes. Well done, OP!
" There needs to be studies on zoomers and their need to white knight for corporations that screw them over for absolutely no gain whatsoever. These people have crippling self-esteem issues, to the point where they feel angry if someone points out they are being mistreated. They think they deserve to be punished and don't tolerate people getting in the way. We laugh at them in forums, but it's actually quite sad. |

Nice memes
GGG ain't that dumb. They doing this on purpose. It's always been: Step 1: Ignore player feedback and create a bad patch. Step 2: Post an update about something something they listen. Step 3: Fixing the bad patch by reverting changes. Step 4: Remaining players will thank GGG for the reverting changes. Rinse and Repeat. |

" Yeah I could mention all the other issues also. But no, I choose a big one that was hard to be missed. I mean I think it was very deliberate from the devs, it might not be a mistake at all. And yes the minion builds were popular, so it was bad for so many players. They were do not care. |

" " And yes this "generalization" is the worst kind of arguing. That is why I chose a big issue to make it clear that the "generalization" is not true. They were so many players whose builds were crushed, not just nerfed. They were rightfully confused about the state of the game. So mentioning the "silver platter" is just trolling. |
