Completed campaign in ~20 hrs as SSF: Awful Experience

I usually play trade league, but for whatever reason I decided to play SSF with the most recent league.

I was sick of worrying about trading, and I just wanted to play the game without dealing with annoying players.

Yet, 0.2 has had the worst drops I've ever experienced in PoE. In fact, Ruthless SSF in PoE1 drops way more items compared to this shit.

I decided not to look up any builds and managed to get to maps in 20 hrs with Lightning Spear and Lightning Lance or w/e the fk they're called.

It was a grueling experience having barely 20-30 all resists and 1300hp by the end of the campaign. I also didn't use a shield because of a notable passive giving 20% more attack speed, so I was heavily reliant on good positioning and knowing mechanics to progress.

However, by the time I reached maps, because the campaign rewarded me with basically 0 upgrades by the final acts, I was even more gimped vs map mobs. I cleared up to T3 maps until I gave up on the SSF grind.

I'm literally finding 0 useful items and almost no currencies like alcs and exalts.

GGG, you really destroyed the SSF experience in PoE2.

FIX THE LOOT, YOU FOOLS!

You are lucky. It took me 1 day 19 hours and 56 minutes to finish the campaign.
I'm on EU servers though so crashed, disconnects and rollbacks meant I had to do a lot of content more than once.

I never got any good drops either. I didn't upgrade a single piece of my gear except for buying sceptres in town to get minions that do no damage.

I literally carried myself with skill gems and using chaos dots with Essence Drain and Contagion. If I was doing a physical damage build I would still be in act 3 normal.

The game is a joke in it's current state. And I ain't laughing.

From what I can see people are rushing through the campaingn, but then they complain about lack of loot and other stuff, you rushed through...what did you expect? I bet you did all zones only once.

I "completed campaign in ~20 hrs as SSF" and I had an extremely awesome experience. Everything felt good, white mobs got blown out before they reached me, and bosses melted.

Game is in such a fantastic state right now, and I'm enjoying end game thoroughly.

I am 27 hours in at lv 41. I haven't rushed. With the constant dc's and rollbacks I think I have done about 25% of the zones twice. The loot situation both currency and items is dire in my experience. I am only a newb at 5000 hours played but I have never seen such a lack of drops.

Completed campaign SSF, Chaos witch. In drop only spears, spears and spears. Delete poe2. No plans to comeback.

Well first of all most PoE players never trade, which GGG themselves told us. Second, balancing the game around trade is moronic because it can never be balanced. Thirdly, even though 0.1 had bad drops it still was much better than 0.2, and poe1 had better drops compared to 0.1. There was absolutely no need to nerf drops like this.

Okay your opinion doesn't matter.

And by the way, I did the campaign throughout 3 days in total.

I recall Sirgog making a video a day or 2 ago talking about how ~90% of leaderboard ssf players transfered over to trade within the first day of 0.2.0 launch. That should tell ggg more than enough that loot NEEDS work.
