minions oof..

agreed ye, would prefer it if things are properly tested, i know they said "we dont have time to test all classes for 100hrs"

sure but they do have a lot of money to pay (if needed) some random "game testers 40bucks or something to tell if their experience is shit or not"

they cannot.. they need to pay a full wage corresponding to what the union their workers state as the minimal wage. So no it is not feasible to pay a hundred testers.
"

And even if it would end up being too op, who cares? Imagine how FUN it would be.

The thing that would take devs time is fixing the specters abilities. As alot of the specters dont use some of their abilities or in some cases any of them.

FUN and OP on same sentence makes basic no sense.

So just slow down. This patch is clearly a result of crunch and rushing. If those two things are not the case, the only option I can see is they have no idea what is fun.

never said we need 100testers
can just grab 5-10 people it's a very commen thing to do this, happens all the time with Single Player games (even God Of War)

Kinda does tbh the whole thing about PoE rather its 1 or 2 just the entire gaming itself the devs mentioned many times "you will still feel like a god".

well that's definitely not the case right now, if i swap back to PoE1 i will feel like a god again cuz the stuff in Phrecia can be crazy.

Still very hard for 5 testers to test some 17 ascendencies from zero to endgame AND test the mechanics every time something changes in the development. It is really not feasible in this scale of game. They probably extrapolate from their previous tests and effects of changes on one configuration upon others.

Not saying they should not test at all, but it is not realistic to expect all these configurations to be tested from zero to pinacles unless they do 1 release per year.

ofcourse its hard, but that's kind of the point u run into with a game like PoE but merely saying a "LOT" may have been prevented or changed before the league was even out based on "testers" experience.

cuz now we're the testers, and PoE in its design is mega big so ye more testing better, but better anyone for a couple hrs per class then no one at all.

To be fair we came into this knowing we would be testing a pre-release game. I don't think that's what anyone is upset about, though. The balance is so far out of the ballpark of resembling anything fun it's kind of baffling us how these numbers made it into the patch. Add to that people have been waiting four months, and there is your problem. Need more frequent updates. Not a huge sweeping change, especially if they don't have the time or recourses to test it before launching the patch.

hmhm yep faster patches should be the way, doesnt take that long to see how many builds/people are just not getting through monsters or dying 10xtimes more then previous before the league.
